Hi guys, I'm Seoul Walker.
Today, I arrived in Busan by KTX train from Seoul station. Let's walk together at the Busan train station. Happy lunar new year!!
►Google Maps: goo.gl/maps/PaGGBXQTjUbgdo7HA
►Naver Maps: naver.me/x1QBbAeI
[Naver Maps] is very useful in South Korea.
Busan (Korean pronunciation: [pusan]), formerly romanized as Pusan and now officially Busan Metropolitan City, is South Korea's second most-populous city after Seoul, with a population of over 3.5 million inhabitants.[3] It is the economic, cultural and educational center of southeastern South Korea, with its port-Korea's busiest and the fifth-busiest in the world [a]-only about 190 kilometers (120 mi) from the Japanese islands of Kyushu and Honshu. The surrounding "Southeast Economic Zone" (including Ulsan and South Gyeongsang) is South Korea's largest industrial area.
Busan is divided into 15 major administrative districts and a single county, together housing a population of approximately 3.6 million. The full metropolitan area, the Southeastern Maritime Industrial Region, has a population of approximately 8 million.[5] The most densely built-up areas of the city are situated in a number of narrow valleys between the Nakdong and the Suyeong Rivers, with mountains separating most of the districts. The Nakdong is Korea's longest river and Busan's Haeundae Beach is also the country's largest.
Busan is a center for international conventions, hosting APEC in 2005. It is also a center for sports tournaments in Korea, having hosted the 2002 Asian Games and FIFA World Cup. It is home to the world's largest department store, the Shinsegae Centum City.[6] Busan was added to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a "City of Film" in December 2014.
Busan Station is a train station in Busan,[1] southeast South Korea, and the southern terminus of the Gyeongbu Line, the most important railway line in the country, which links Busan with Seoul in just under three hours,[2][3] using the KTX line (Korea's high-speed rail system).

I'm a european traveller that has been to lots of places all around the world. But Busan will forever be my favourite city in all of Asia. She is so stunningly beautiful with all her mountains and beaches. And has that certain....charm and atmosphere that is so unique and wonderful. I never felt so very comfortable in any other foreign city. Busan will always have me coming back. Also thank you to all the people of Busan to make me feel so welcome in your city. I promise to practice my Korean more so I will be better at speaking your language.

Busan is just a gem. The city has everything one can possibly expect as a tourist. Seoul definitely has more things to do, but Busan has diverse attractions and scenery that make the city more interesting than Seoul IMO.

@@OMG-hq7ov Definitely recommend Haeundae and Gwanghali Beach - there are nice cafe's and restaurants near the beach and the views from Gwanghali is stunning, especially at night. The route from Yeongdo-bridge (which opens every 15 min)-Jalgalchi Fish Market -- Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market -- Nampo BIFF Night Market -- and Bosu-dong book alley are all connected so it's a special experience visiting those destinations along the way that huge traditional market complex. Gamcheon Cultural Village, and Taejongdae Cliff are also must-go-to's. Not as well known to tourists it seems, but I also walked the full length of the abandoned seaside Mipo Railway from Haeundae to Songjeong Beach, which was beautiful. Haedongyonggungsa Temple is not far from Songjeong Beach, which I thought was a beautiful temple on a craggy cliff near the sea. When you're in Haeundae definitely walk the Dongbaek Island Trail: beautiful views of nature and Busan's skyline. If you have the time, rent a car and drive the bridge across to Geoje Island and Tongyeong for a beautiful drive along the coast of Hallyeohaesang National Park

Oh Busan, My city!!

Hi! Happy, magic Lunar New Year! I think I have one more reasons to love your country, South Korea and his people. I love your way to be organizing. I suppose, if you weren't like this, for how many people you are, it could be chaos. I admire you, your power to move. You have a great infrastructure for whole country and locally. It's a wonderful experience to travel, no matter with what means of transport. In Busan it's a rainy day. But I wish you to enjoy your travel! Beautiful, interesting day! 💜 (PS mean post scriptum. Do you know, Jimin and Jung Kook BTS were born to Busan). Thank you! Be happy! 💜

We also caught the KTX to Busan. It was a comfortable & enjoyable train ride from Seoul. My friend who lives in Busan met us at the train station & with her guidance, we all took a taxi to the hotel at Dongbaek Island near Haeundae Beach to drop off our luggage. Then went to lunch at an awesome restaurant that had all private rooms for diners which I never experienced before. Busan is one of my favorite cities to visit throughout S. Korea. Thank you for you post! It brings back fond memories of our trip there in October 2018.

전봇대에 전선들좀 땅속으로 넣던지 눈에 안보이게 깔끔하게 정리하던지 거미줄도 아니고;;;; 전국이 다 그럼.. 그리고 기차역도 그렇고 부산시도 그렇고 난간이나, 표지판, 보도블럭, 버스정류장, 지하철 이런 공공디자인에 신경 좀 쓰면 나라가 달라보일듯... 지금은 아직 너무 촌스러움.. 촌스러운게 한국적인건가..;;
