Hello everyone, this is my trip report of Pegasus Airlines on their new Airbus A320neo in Economy Class from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Izmir.
In this video, I explained what it is like to fly Pegasus Airlines, did they live up to expectations as a low-cost carrier and what it is like to fly a brand-new A320neo.

I know the reason for the time difference during startup! The LEAP-1A26 has a cold start and a hot start function. In your video, you experience a hot start - a hot start means the temperature of the engine is high, likely from the last flight. So it spins the engine without fuel for about 30-45 seconds, which is known as a crank phase. The crank phase spins the engine with bleed air from the apu and the rotation of the fan in combination with the bleed air actually cools the engine, which in my opinion is very cool technology. Then it introduces fuel and you hear that awesome "boom" sound. Then when the engine is cold at startup, it will have a cold start and will skip that crank phase entirely which will shorten the startup time. Nice flight report, with cool automatic calls. How do you know that the electronic devices must be switched off during the entire flight and that they are also not on airplane mode? Do they really check that?

Thank you for watching,from TC-NCJ onwards the automated announcements are different from the rest of the of the fleet.They ask you not to use any devices even in flight mode suring takeoff and landing.They obviously can’t check everyone but people sitting around you may feel uncomfortable with that.
