Afternoon walk from Venice Beach boardwalk to Santa Monica Beach on a hot, sunny day.
Venice Beach, which receives millions of visitors a year, has been labeled as "a cultural hub known for its eccentricities" as well as a "global tourist destination". It includes the promenade that runs parallel to the beach (also the "Ocean Front Walk" or just "the boardwalk"), Muscle Beach, and the Venice Beach Recreation Center with handball courts, paddle tennis courts, a Skate Dancing plaza, and numerous beach volleyball courts. It also includes a bike trail and many businesses on Ocean Front Walk.
Santa Monica State Beach is a California State Park operated by the city of Santa Monica. The beach is located along Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica. It is 3.5 miles long and has parks, picnic areas, playgrounds, restrooms, as well as manned lifeguard stations, the original Muscle Beach, bike rentals, concessions, a few hotels, a bike path, and wooden pathways for warm days and beach-goers with disabilities.

I was there then. It was like a ghost town. I went back a year later & everything was back to normal. Except Muscle Beach, which is open now. It opened March 14th. Yay! 💪

Wish you had included any kind of voice over narration to tell us what we're seeing and why because if you don't live in the LA area, it's just a bunch of sites without any history and no particular meaning, when every place has some sort of local history, especially this area.
