Taipei City Mall is directly underneath Taipei main station. Taipei's transport hub. And is well known to locals for being a never ending maze that is easy to get lost in, even for those with a good sense of direction.
So i thought it'd be fun to walk the entire length of it. Starting at Beimen station ending at Shuang Lian. (ok the second part is technically a separate mall called Zhongshan metro mall but to me its all one big connected underground extravaganza) It also connects 4 Metro stations. So you can basically walk across the length of 4 stations all underground if you so please.
It's got lots of stuff to explore. There is a geeky area with games, toys, figures, gacha machines, Indonesian restaurants, Meat cleaver massage shops(no lie) and even an underground book street when you arrive at the zhong shan section.

Do you mean fashionable shops or more market style clothes? Z zone does have some but its more what i would call 'tat' lol...

Thanks for this video! Can I ask what time did you go? We went around 8pm or so and it seemed like most shops were closed

@@taipeistreetroaming thank you for your reply! Wow I'm so surprised even at 5pm. Our friend kept recommending to go but we went twice already and thought we hit the wrong area because most were closed similarly to your walk through video

@@x3hoppie The only area worth going to imo is the Y mall (the area in the first part of the video) thats got some fun geeky stuff, lots of gatcha machines and there's a cleaver massage place. The other parts are mostly selling trinkets and tat like that and are as you said, mostly closed. K mall (cheng pin) used to be good too but it was closed when i filmed this and possibly still closed now.
