And people say Bart isn’t safe at any time of day. Not at one point in this video did the train look unsafe and one of the performers in the car had a nice message at the end which was cool to see. I honestly love riding Bart because it’s safe, reliable and fast

@@moniho6907 "I thought only nyc had a train system, didn't know one in sanfran" Are you kidding, all major cities in the world have at least an extensive bus system if not rail based transit as well. Here in the Bay Area we have BART and Caltrain and SMART for going between counties, and then each county has its own internal public transit system as well (with at least buses, if not also light rail).

people in the comments acting like these performers are trying to rob riders. i ride bart all the time and in fact have seen this very group of men perform on my car multiple times, i give them tips when i have cash but if i dont they dont get angry or berate me, its still a handshake and positive words and wishes. its really sad to see people demonize these folks when all they want is to see people smile

Why do you think that people should be subjected to this crap on their commute? Why do you think that we should tolerate super-loud ear-splitting music on our commute home? There are places for basking and BART isn't one of them. I don't want to be trapped in an enclosed tube with extremely loud musing and people bothering me. I just want to get home in peace. That's what transit is for!

@@TohaBgood2 see you’re exactly the kind of people I’m talking about. You’re Over exaggerating the volume and if it really bothers you just move cars, they won’t chase you down or anything. With all the terrible shit going on in the bay you still choose to frown upon people doing something FUN and something they’re PASSIONATE about like sharing their music. Sorry some of us haven’t relinquished ourselves to the negativity and still want to have a little fun on our way home

@@robotx9285 You have no idea how loud they crank the music. It's over 110 db! BART goes 80 mph under the Bay in the Transbay tunnel. The train itself is insanely loud cracking 90-100 db. And these $^^$%^ crank their music even louder to cover up the noise of the train. And they deliberately only do it in the Transbay tube cause it's the longest stretch without any stations and they can get a longer routine in before people can escape at the next station. Once you have your ears bleed a couple of times too from these m0rons you'll have the exact same attitude.

@TohaBgood2 No dude, I wouldn't react like that, most people wouldn't react as adversely as you are. I think if you cannot tolerate those sounds, your better off getting sound mufflers for whenever the train get loud. I just don't give a damn this much when the train gets loud.

BART trains are TAMER than New York City trains! I see a lot of well-behaved people who look NORMAL. Not so in New York! Half the people on New York City trains look like they'll GO-OFF on you at any moment! SCAREY STUFF! And, SO SPACIOUS! BART trains are wider; more comfortable looking. No one could do a dance move in the middle of NYC trains, there's BARELY ENOUGH ROOM FOR YOUR FEET!

I ride BART and Muni all the time and as you can see from this video it’s pretty clean, safe and fine. You ask what the point of BART is, and the answer is obvious: getting from A to B safely and quickly (it’s much faster to go from Oakland to SF on BART than by car) and without paying $$ for gas and parking in SF. You say you choose to drive your car because you don’t feel safe on BART. Statistically you’re at greater risk on the road in your car, so I’m guessing “safety” isn’t the concern. Maybe you just don’t like being next to other people you don’t know? Lots of folks are that way: they prefer being in their own private vehicles over the communal aspect of riding public transit, and that’s great that you have this choice in the Bay Area…but it’s disingenuous to call my daily fellow passengers “crazies” and characterize the ride as unsafe. You and I both know the real issue is you’re not comfortable being with what is obviously a diverse, respectful and fairly happy group of people you might have to sit next to.
