Those f*ckings comments!!! Are Skyrim or GTAV in 2022 even the same games as released in 2011 and 2013? Believe it or not when the development started in 2015, ray tracing technology didn't even exist and the best graphics card around was the GTX 980... So sad that they didn't implement techniques and features that didn't even exist at the beginning of the project on the release date. It's because of people like you that the world is bad!

There is a good mod for it, makes it really hard to drive fast around the city but I guess thats realistic. Just sucks with the police. I'm hoping they refine the engine more for the second game and they come out really nice.

His traffic/crowd density is probably set to low so that he can run the game whike recording at a tolerable fps. If they optimized the game better, it could be insane

That's not true actually. At least on PS5. There are more npcs than any other game I played. I guess it depends on your settings but make no mistake, there are crowds of npcs in this game. The city is anything but dead and has only improved since release.

I know their not Including flying vehicle for covering how small the world really are, but still the vertical building in this world is amazing and need to be appreciated, still frustrated it's not came with vanilla or upcoming release and have to be with mods.

My frustration comes from that the upper levels of many buildings are only accessible via elevators that have opaque walls and absurdly low speeds. Really feels like they are in another world which is actually false.

I don't get this complaint. What more did yo uwant? a bunch of mini games? There's a ton of stories between the main missions and the side gigs, there's a shit load of cars and collectibles. Lots of places to explore with unique story scenes playing out in the setting. People have said this ad nauseum but they never have anything to input but more interactive oobjects and mini games.

@@thefumexxl It's just that there is a discrepancy between how great it looks, and how shallow it is in terms of interactions. That's a valid criticism, although the tech to remediate that barely exists. I think we will start seing AI-generated content created on the fly starting with the next generation of consoles; by then, the models should be lightweight enough to run on future superior hardware, and they would also be multimodal so that they won't just generate text in real time, but also voice. In fact, there was a GPT-3 powered demo of that concept a few years ago and it already worked pretty well. I don't know if anyone is developing an AI to make all the buildings accessible, though; so what could be the easiest part might actually not be done this decade just because the incentives to build this particular AI are so much weaker than the incentives to build large language models that have applications that go way beyond populating virtual worlds.

@@unutilisateur4729 I hear you, but do you REALLY need more explorable buildings? There's a lot of places you can enter and lots of nooks and crannies, and all of the places feel alive/lived in. I just don't see the validity in the complaint afters pending a lot of time in the game. Yes I was just roaming around catching small fights, listening to chatter and catching scripted moments if I wasn't going to/from or in the middle of a mission... but I don't know what more would have been needed to make the place feel any more alive than it does. More interactive objects wouldn't hurt, but that's about the biggest thing I could think of. The NPC's and their behavior(outside of combat) is already leagues above most games this size, the only thing that comes close is the Witcher 3. Ironically enough there's WAY more going on in Cyberpunk but people still think the Witcher felt more alive.

Finally! I have noticed people commenting about VR. These games would look incredible in VR. Not now but very soon. I just need to explore these environments with minimal interactions. I don't need the whole gameplay if that's not possible. I want to walk around, examine things and have an interactive experience in The Witcher 3, GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077 etc.

Psvr2 will have it in 2023... But gaming is becoming so expensive it's crazy... I have a playlist on here with some cool VR vids but KZfaq needs more immersive content.. An interactive vids would be a game changer fasho!

Looks fine, but games like this are still in its infancy. It's more like experiencing walking around in a model city than an actual city, because everywhere you look it's buildings that are only there for show without being able to interact with them.

Well, if you want your game to be almost 1.5 times the original's size then that will be a really good addition..but most of the open-world games don't do so because buildings tend to be extremely intensive and most of the mid and low end computers won't be able to handle them

@@adhwaithvnair4093 it will solve itself sooner or later. we have already solved alot when it comes to storage demands RAM wise, but most likely all games will be streaming later, or partly streaming/cloud storage, no matter how the current streaming services are failing. having things local makes sense today due to technical limitations, but later it wont matter and it will make heck of a lot more sense to have everything either stored on big servers, or locally with everyone sharing with bandwidth
