The girls didn't like the way Cube treated them, they left. Ended up being some bad blood between Hyuna and the others since she stayed, but they made up ages ago. According to Jihyun in an interview from 2018.

Kpop girlgroups nowadays owe groups like 4MINUTE and 2NE1 so many things. Mothers of "girl crush" and "bad/sexy girl" concepts who dared to show such darker concepts in an era where "cute/good girl" concept was almost the only acceptable option on the table for female idols.

Everyone has their own opinion dear. 😘 Just sharing my thought here, the reason why I think it would be a big hit mainly due to KPOP back then is not as popular as now. With that much views for a video released in 2015, I am sure they will get quite the same number of views as BP if this song released today. I still remember back then getting 100 Million views is such a big achievement for a KPOP group, now you can see it everywhere, even a Billion is not impossible now. no girl group ever went in as hard as 4minute did in "crazy" every second of this video is pure attitude and energy. they had such a strong rap line, dance line and vocal line. together as 5 they had so much variety and could pull off any style or concept tbh.
