This video is both a feature rundown of the 4ms Atoner Eurorack module and a video diary of the build process for the DIY kit. This is a fantastic little module and though I love the sounds I can get out of it both as a processor and a generator. I couldn't find much content on KZfaq showcasing it and its features in the context of a patch. This video is sort of the video I would've wanted to see before I purchased the kit. I love the sounds I'm getting out of it out of the box and I feel there is a lot more to explore that I have barely scratch the surface of its usefulness.
If you're just getting into DIY builds, this is a great beginner / intermediate level kit that involves both PCB work as well as panel construction and working with solid core. Should only take you an afternoon at the most. including the calibration process. Soldering iron, flush cutters, a pair of needlenose, and solid core will be the only tools you'll need.
The kit is available to purchase here:

I bought an Atoner because of you, and I'm not disappointed at all, it is really fun ! Now I'm looking for the Swash to destroy everything. Thank you for you great content, and keep it up.

Thank you! About time someone made a proper video of this module. Sold. Sometimes the music was a tiny bit too loud while you were speaking though, it was kind of hard to follow at times

Mmm agreed, thanks for the input! Gotta get those compressor settings just right when mixing these videos or else the sidechain doesn't work exactly how u want it to

Man thanks for making such a great video on this! When I first saw the Atoner panel I just fell in love and wanted it almost regardless of what it actually does. Luckily it seems like a perfectly weird module to mess up sounds in unique odd ways which I really need in my case, a little too conventional right now. Just ordered one and will get to pick it up next month when I'm visiting my pal in Arizona. I honestly don't know if i fully know what it does but i'm eagerly awaiting what kinda things it will lead me to! But yeah thanks for making the best comprehensible overview of this odd module. Oh also The Dawn Age is a great album.

I found you on r/hainbach. Already really really high-quality stuff. Synth nerds on KZfaq have a tendency to be overly-chill and boring or reclusive and awkward, but you're neither of those things (as far as I can tell). Keep it up, man!

awh :') than you! means a lot. I find all these synths incredibly exciting, inspiring, and at times confusing so i hope that that comes across in my videos.

Totally random question and a bit irrelevant to the video, but I noticed you have a pico input in what looks like a 4ms 60 pod. Mine doesn't fit in the pod when connected to the ribbon connector due to the pod being too shallow. How the hell did you fit it in there lmao?? Did you use an alternative ribbon connector? I'm a noob to the modular world.
