4ms Meta is a new Eurorack module that brings software modules (VCV Rack) to Eurorack. 4ms Meta can be used as a multi-effects processor, a powerful multi-oscillator, a sequencer, or for loading entire VCV Rack patches.

I don't even use modular hardware, but this is very cool. Looking forward to 4ms modules coming to VCV in software too.

The one, the only pity is that the control surface expanders aren't common with Der Mann mit der Maschine! Because Der Mann's motorised faders….

So is the screen stationary or does it scroll? Can you fit more than 2 modules per preset? CPU willing ofc

hey. what do you mean with scroll? You can import an entire VCV Rack patch inside but it always depend how heavy CPU intensive the individual modules are.

All we can see from the video is shots with 2 modules on screen. Didn’t show how one would navigate between others if there’s more, off screen

@@Knardsh it depends on the workflow how you want to use the module. He used it to load two modules like an oscillator but you can also load an entire patch. Scrolling works the same in a bigger patch as with two modules with the knob on the right.
