Thank you! Aside from removing trash and debris from the ocean and coastlines, we're also educating on how to create a sustainable planet. We do have a dedicated education team who is working hard to implement new initiatives and spread awareness about plastics pollution with the younger generation.

love what you're doing when I would vacation with the family on Cozumel I would spend a couple of days picking up garbage putting it in bags and then the army would come by and pick up everything that I had collected

6 pack rings have been outlawed here in Australia for years and single use plastic bags last year.Big improvement but straws and water bottles still a problem

Those are great steps! We all have the opportunity every day to vote with our wallets and demand big brands move to more sustainable options and stop producing single-use items that are created to last a lifetime and only used on average for 20 minutes.

I just found about your organization and I’m LOVING it, I bought one of ur bracket, I’ve been posting all about u on my social media and try to get as many as possible to volunteer, I’m a 15 year girl from Norway and when I’m getting older I really wanna help, I’ve been trying my best to help, buying bracelets and spreading the word about u, but the only “base” in my country Is like 5 hours away:/ But keep on the good work!! And I will help u guys sooner or later!

The hurricane that hit Florida last year left so much trash on Okaloosa Island I spent my whole day cleaning it and was SOOOOOO fun

Drinking water fountains should always be enginered so you have the option to refill your water bottle, not just drink from the spout.

Anyone is welcome to volunteer with us at one of our beach cleanup events! If you are under 17, you must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver and attend with you. All of our full time cleanup crew members are paid 4ocean employees.

Just go out and start doing it in your own neighborhood. Every time I walk my dog I pick up the trash discarded by the construction companies building there. It is a disgrace how our greenspace is their dumping ground.

I would love to volunteer !! I'm a retired Texan , living in northern Mexico/San Antonio,Texas !! But it's boring !! If you will accept my help I'll gladly relocate full time down there, just might need some help to find an affordable place to stay !!

Even if you can't do a clean-up in Australia, could you sell your bracelets in stores in Australia? I support and admire you and the group 100%, but I feel conflicted about ordering another bracelet because I'm trying to cut down on the number of things I order online that have to be flown from one country to another. In the meantime I just try to cut down on plastic as much as I can and post links to your website wherever it'll be useful on KZfaq.

Great question! Once we collect the trash, everything we collect is brought back to our facility where it's carefully sorted and prepared to be recycled. We do use the water bottles and plastic bottles (rPET) for our bracelets. Anything that can’t be recycled, we're storing for a new future project.

@TheMan34TheMan44 Everything we collect is brought back to our facility where it is carefully sorted and prepared to be recycled. Anything that is able to be recycled gets recycled. In south Florida what can’t be recycled is taken to Solid Waste Authority in West Palm Beach to be turned into energy. Solid Waste Authority is the most efficient, least emission facility in the country.

I wonder if you could start building recycled houses for people, out of the garbage, and figure out a way to make a profit off that to motivate money driven people to do the same. Capitalism doesnt have to be bad lol
