You can absolutely do that. You can also add a hood pin switch so when you open your hood light turns on and when you close it light turns off. I just chose to install the toggle switch it came with in the engine bay.

I don't have any videos showing particularly that. But it's not hard if you want a switch in your dash. You just relocate it inside your vehicle. You'll need to go through your firewall.

You could try. The cyclones are light enough that the 3M should hold it.

I was going to try to screw a magnet base to them. There are magnetic bases with a center screw hole.

I gave a set of these to a friend of mine who owns a nice 2006 Jeep TJ and he used magnets on his and mounted them on each outside front fenders typically where the small round trail badging goes; he left enough wiring so he could remove and place them anywhere under the hood if he should need them… on the other hand they work great during the night time as puddle and ditch lights!

I think gorilla tape would be better. I’ve used that tape for the module for my HD lights. That module is now one with my 4Runner lol. They don’t come off.
