Off set wheels give you the same results and probably safer too.

I have 2 inch spacers and a leveling kit i need to toss on.. i put the spacers on to see and they cause the out side of the tire to contact the frame on full lock..-leveling kit will fix it but a pain that i had to pull them off for now 😂

How often do you re-torque those spacers as maintenance? Do you need to uninstall them and put new loctite again?

When ever you put wheel spacers it’s recommended to change out your wheel bearings

Lower offset wheels have the exact same effect- unless you counter the amount of negative offset with tire width (usually a balance between a bit wider and a bit of negative offset rather than a lot of negative offset)

@@Angry-Little-Fish. Agreed and I am far from cheap with my 4Runner BUT I’m not going to add something that just causes damage to other parts. Makes no sense bud. And for what? The looks? Honestly I can’t even tell the difference between what you did on yours and the 33s on mine.

As long as you maintain it, torque it every oil change or 5k miles. Your good 👍

I did that with 2" spacers and I had to remove them immediately because it hit the edges of the chassis when turning the front tire.

Yup, the bigger the spacer the more rubbing you’ll get

Definitely wider, rubbed on the fender liner, pushed it back and no issues

Congratulations you have now lost the last 2mpgs you were holding on to and are now negative not per gallon besides the fact that you need to readjust the entire suspension to perform better as you should but since that is not the case it will look good parked. Let’s just hope you don’t lose a wheel on the freeway good job guy way to “mod” a car

I think I need this done. I bought some tires that are too big(cuz the mfr rims were new) now when I make a turn one tire is rubbing on something and it sounds horrible. Helpppp

Check whats rubbing. Adding spacers can cause rubbing

I’ve had wheel spacers on my truck and my wheel almost fell off because of the spacers it puts a lot more stress on your front end just be careful when you run them

I got 2.5 inch of lift. Rubbing on the fender liners only. Pushed them back and no rubbing anymore
