My middle loved A Reason for Handwriting! We switched it up so she could learn how to do cursive but may end up going back to it.

We started winning with writing last year with my middle (she is going into 4th). I didn’t love that (but we do like their spelling). This next year we will be doing Share Your Story and I just purchased Writeshop jr D. I used Writeshop jr book E for my oldest and planned to use that with my 4th in the future but just decided to make the switch this next year. I think it will be fun to go through it. Writeshop junior is in depth and fun but sometimes teacher intensive

I love this video. That sounds great. I really thought about Apologia math, but in the end went with TGTB 4. I love how you're using the Mcguffys, and language 3 from CLE. I am also using the creative writing book from TGTB. I made a video recently talking about when it works and when it doesn't work.. just depending on the mood of the house. And how the school days going. Can't force creativity!

I love this video! I’m going to be using a lot of the same things based on your previous videos where you guys tried and loved these curriculum! You and your sister are one of my favorite homeschooling channels! Have you guys ever thought about making other videos like easy recipes, etc? ❤

Thank you for your videos they have helped a lot in choosing curriculum! I’m curious to know how you guys plan your schedule on all these subjects I know CLE has creative writing,handwriting and grammar included so do have him doing the other workbooks all together?

Thanks for watching! He has daily independent work that doesn’t take him much time at all. He has his “we remember” section from CLE, a page of fix it grammar, a page of explode the code, and independent reading. If anything is too much for him I will break it up. We will be having a video explaining our schedules soon.

Have you thought about using the IWE’s writing program? I’m going to try using the People and Places in Our Community with my son this year.

I have looked into the Bible heroes I think it’s called but never pulled the plug on that one. I’d love to hear your feedback after you try it.

How hard is Apologia Math for the teacher? I am about to have my sixth child and need something fun and effective for my upcoming first grader but simple for me to teach and use.

I was worried about this too before I got it but each activity is pretty easy to set up and all the activity pages are in the back of the teacher manual. They are fun and engaging and math for our home as been smooth sailing. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching ♥️

Do you feel there is enough review for concepts to stick? I don’t see money or time covered…?

@@beachgurl788 there is a lot of review with daily skills practice. That is the one downside to it but I just add in those concepts on the side.
