I am a history buff, this song was written as a prayer to God and set to music a few years later. The poem was written by a slave runner asking God for forgiveness. Changes outlook of song.

Hello my friends, there nothing better than these ladies live. I believe this was a Digital Christmas Concert the girls put on for the Dreamers, even though there was no audience, these ladies put on one of the best concerts I have ever seen, the outfits were as gorgeous as the girls and the vocals were heavenly.

Yup, I see their reply and that's what they said in one reaction. But they actually send a real handwritten thank you note! Wow, who does that, except little kids with their parents leaning over them? I taped some sections of 2 of their reactions where they're talking about us dreamers and sent one of those to the sisters after I asked Marshall and Dan which one. Although we know they won't forget us when they go home, I will want to make sure!

As stated by Scott Davidson ...this was from their Xmas concert . Remember , these ladies are independent artist so everything you get from 4th Impact is self funded. Just a fun fact-----if you remember the X Factor audition Almira loses her hat very early in the song........here she loses it several times but the show goes on. Hats and Almira's head just dont seem to go together

Hi Mike and Jess, thanks again for reacting to this immaculate girl group. I was fortunate to watch the concert live that year but I still get goosebumps listening to their rendition of this Christmas song. This was recorded during the pandemic with only their mother and sister in the audience, besides the camera men and technical guys. They sound(ed) like a 40 member church choir yet they are only 4 petite sisters with voices as great as the likes of Celine Dion, Montserrat Caballé and other great names. A very suitable song to react to at this time of the year. ♥

Thank you Friends! This was at their Christmas virtual concert in 2020, one that they produced and funded themselves. it was so jaw dropping that morning then, and it's never lost any luster since! If you want to hear equally, or maybe even more amazing from that concert, here's their Carol of the Bells from that same concert: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/arp0hJyI3tzXXXk.html. Update on these fantastic souls: they flew back at 11:15 AM Pacific to the Philippines because they were so homesick and to recharge plus they were so low on funds. They promised to come back here in February. And yes, the butterfly must be Almira's favorite, since she sings that song as a solo in their first virtual concert they also produced in August, 2020 and last year in a small venue too. Yet another enjoyable reaction! Celtic Woman is an all-female Irish musical ensemble, and 4th Impact based their arrangement on the Celtic Woman version of the song. This video was from a live stream Christmas Concert 4th Impact put on a few years back,. Still amazes me how jaw-droppingly impressive they are able to sound while singing live, in 4-part harmony. "Amazing Grace" was written as a hymn by the captain of a slave ship, of all people, although he eventually became a clergyman and an abolitionist after years of investing in the slave trade. The music was added much later. I don't think it technically qualifies as a Christmas song, although I guess if enough people keep singing it at Christmas, it will come to be seen that way. Thank you for the reaction to our AMAZING sisters. A Philippines fact: Philippines celebrates Christmas during the "BER" months, September, October, November, December. Merry Christmas 🌲

@michaelloxton9425 Correction please. Philippines don't celebrate Christmas during the "BER" Months. It's only the start of the CHRISTMAS SEASON . In fact, September 16 is the start of the 100 Days Countdown to Christmas Eve which falls on the Midnight of December 24 which is already the 25th, that's the time to Celebrate Christmas. And that's the reason why the Philippines is the ONLY Country that has the Longest Christmas Season.

Thank you Mike and Jess for reacting to one of my favorite 4th Impact songs. They are truly amazing. I think that their harmony is unlike any other. I thought someone must have comment on your Butterfly question, but I don't see one. One of Almira's favorite, if not favorite, is "BUTTERFLY". There is a video of her singing it on KZfaq.
