I think you're "evidently unwell in the head" for ignoring that gender is a completely socially constructed concept and I'm not going to stop supporting people for existing because you've asked nicely 👍

It's not as if the people who identify as transgender are going to stop existing just because they are not trans. Neither is it the case that anyone is asking anyone else to unalive themselves, though I'm sure that's not what you're implying). Again, I'm saying that affirming one's false beliefs of their gender is *not* providing them of the support they need. Some trans-folk regret transitioning and have shared their stories online. Not that anecdotes are 110% relevant and always a deciding factor in every disagreement ever (and, to state the obvious, neither is it that this is always the case), but it's at least worth considering that what you advocate for has been harmful in some instances (I acknowledge that I say this at that risk that I am overstating the risk and understating the reward, but again, it's worth considering as it's something anyone advocating for or against trans-rights must acknowledge). It has also been observed that one's mental distress that they might experience before transitioning does not improve after transitioning. Again, just another thing worth considering before you encourage people to undergo treatment that permanently alters the body, for better or (very concerningly) worse.

Using the smallest of percentages to advocate for your misplaced belief is an awful thing to do. After 2 seconds of google searching you'll I found multiple different papers reporting the detransition and regret of transition being at lowest 1% and highest of 8%. Using this stat to back your ideals up is incredibly disingenuous. And saying that the mental health of people transitioning does not improve is also just a straight lie. Like it's wrong. Incredibly wrong. Also just for the point of conversation, let's say you're right (you absolutely are not), you have a group of people that you deem as mentally unwell and your idea is to tell them they're wrong and to dismiss they're thoughts and how they feel which has been proven to lead to incredibly increased suicide rates ranfging from 32% to 50% increase. So IF you are right (you aren't) then your choice is to either work with these people to better their lives or fight against them like you are and be content with them dying? Also a youtube comment section is not the place for discourse on the basic living conditions and equality of a group of people. Either accept that you're wrong, accept nobody here is changing their minds based on your flawed arguments, or leave the community. Your choice 👍
