@amine shinoda physics student here, we would still be able to identify some components and materials and be able to decipher if the materials contained common materials we use or if it possessed exotic materials/alloys that we do not possess or occur naturally on earth. More than once have I sat in my backyard and just looked up to,find a silver object flying silently without a con trail or anything. It was at a higher altitude. In my case it didn't just disappear. Your situation sounds like a genuine UFO, but in my situation it is more a drone that I believe is from the government to possibly spy on us citizens. It sounds paranoid, but this is the U.S. and who knows what the government does in secret!

It makes perfect sense to me. The military recently upgraded its radar so it’s possible we’re just now seeing how many of these objects fly in US airspace in any regular year. Yet apart from the one balloon that was confirmed to be Chinese we don’t yet know enough about the objects to determine what they are, let alone their country of origin, hence they may not even be foreign. Not manipulative necessarily, just being cautious not to make assumptions and state anything as certain
