LAN partying with starcraft, pizza, soft drinks, many bathroom breaks, calls on the landline while people asked when you would be done and returning to your life...

One thing that was always super disappointing about sc1 was the map sprite(?) limit. When you couldn't make anything because there's too much on the map already. Ruined 4v4s, ruined a lot of UMS games... just such a bummer of a limitation.
