Just started playing COH2 a bit again and its great to see your matches being edited. Its perfect to get some highlights and a general idea on strategy whilst seeing lots of action. Hate watching full games so this is perfect.

Why u guys kept spamming the tank destroyer without having proper infantry line to stop the Pgren shrek? And the others side had nothing but tank destroyer unit :v

Im just commenting for the sake of the “try hard” title. How you lost the early game, basically you have no main line. Mortars don’t hold the line, neither does AT gun. And you need things spotting for the Maxim rather than putting it up front. Losing a Maxim and a guard and floating 500mp means they can easily overwhelm your teammate’s infantries as soon as they get around your MG in a 2v1 because you simply isn’t there. You need at least 2 mainline + a vehicle or 3 mainline as soviets in the early game. Soviets simply doesn’t have big DPS units to sit and win fights like Obers. You need to have a steady frontline to provide time to maneuver your team weapons/armors and elite units. Only take favorable fights and play on the counter should be the motto of Soviets

I fully understand and agree with this concept in general, but not in this type of choke point situation on Port of Hamburg. When the enemy has an MG-42 (sometimes multiple) backed by mortars, Conscripts stand no chance. Can’t advance, can’t stay in cover. My mortars still didn’t match their amount of support weapons and mobile indirect. I did have a light vehicle early to add the suppression; it was killed by a volley from 3 AT guns. In this scenario, was relying on the Brit teammate to fill the gap with mainline infantry so I could add the support, but unfortunately miscommunication had him build an unnecessary mortar pit as well.

@SkippyFX commander I think we train future tank drivers on making them watch a tutorial from girls und panzer so that they can drive better and aim better at ze enemy. So that panzer won't be dry humping ze tree.
