When sewing from a pattern, if I use the vibrant with the cutting blade will not that take from the seam allowance? Help please, I am new to this

It trims off the seam allowance, which in most cases is fine.

@@MooresSewing Oh! I thought if it trim the allowance then the garment would get shorter and it will not fit but I am new to serger machine.
