Hello! Its Linguine again.
I clearly love my bags,and this Issey Miyake Baobao is the latest addition to my collection.
Definitely seeing the appeal of understated bags as the bags with logos plastered all over it be a little loud, a little too much. With that being said, i still enjoy a good ol’ loud bag but some days i just wanna be lower-key. Hahahahhaha.
With that being said, this baobao is recognizable as it can get, but i like how its iconic by virtue of their signature triangles.
I love the bag, and having the option of the strap/chain just makes me love the bag even more! It has structure without being stiff, and it doesn’t have a zip/lock so i can still reach out for things readily. Odd shaped things can also fit inside the bag easily because of the triangle folds. However, the lack of a locking mechanism is also another drawback because my belongings can drop out easily, and its not that secure so belongings are not safeguarded as well. I think it makes a good everyday errand bag, but definitely not for travelling even with the strap allowing me to put the bag in front of me. Singapore is still pretty safe in my opinion so i have no qualms using it here hahaha.
Idk how to describe my own dressing since its very varied lol, but it matches my outfits mostly! To me, its a fun bag and i’m quite serious about getting another colour - gonna be a cute bright one this time. If i ever get sick of the colour, at least my sunk cost won’t result in sleepless nights.
