Come join us as we traverse an easy off-road trail through the Tonto National Forest to a magnificent waterfall.
We start off on the highway 260 and turn on Colcord road. From here we take a couple forest roads to Haigler Creek and than Colcord Falls.
The beautiful weather and fantastic views made for a memorable day.

You can drive right to the falls. Trail goes right to it. It's difficult but a sxs or well equipped jeep/ Tacoma can get there.

It may have changed since we visited on Mother's Day last year. When we were there, the trail seemed to end, and we had to walk through multiple creeks to get to the falls. The hike was great though!

Yes you can camp in this area. There is even a camp site area close to where we pulled over and hiked. There was a fire in that area a couple months ago so I might call the ranger before going this direction just to make sure this trail is open.
