Good call on avoiding unknown water pools while towing out off the beaten path. Only takes one oops to make it a much longer recovery. Gotta love the soft shackle!

Had an outstanding day yesterday! A friend called to tell me that his son had gotten his Toyota Tacoma stuck in the mud adjacent to a levy here in Houston and wanted to know if I could come in my JLUR to recover his vehicle. I've been watching your videos, learning what to do, and slowly collecting the best recovery gear I can, but have never had the opportunity to put any of it to use. That changed yesterday. I did what I thought you would do. After assessing the situation, I figured out the best way to get him out. I set up a bridal with 2 soft shackles with my tree saver off 2 strong tow points on the back of his Tacoma and then used my kinetic rope hooked to another soft shackle to a shackle hitch receiver on my Jeep. Layed the slack kinetic rope to the side so I could see it and pulled him right out. It was amazing how easy it was with the right gear and your expert tutelage. It really felt awesome to sort of know what you're doing and rescuing a friend in need. Thanks very much for posting these videos as I learn more from each one I see. Keep them coming!

Looks like he tried avoiding the deep part of the mud hole and ended up finding the deepest side. I feel his pain, been in that situmany times. Great job especially with the weather. If that would have been me, the first crack of lighting I would have been in my Jeep and waiting on it to pass. Hats off for having balls of steel.

Best video in a while. The beach was getting old. Probably because I was wishing I was at the beach too and I'm 12 hours away from one. I just received my first order from you guys. Didn't take long for my son to find and steel the stickers and put them on his 4x4. Oh darn guess I'll have to make another order to get more lol. He's watching your videos now too.

I'm a car audio enthusiast. Due to subwoofers killing batteries and alternators it is a common belief that deep cell batteries are the best option. Also referred to as boat batteries. They can handle getting charged in discharging quickly without killing the cells inside. You might already have one but it's just a thought

I grew up in Michigan and I've seen guys leave mud trucks stuck in the swamp all winter. By time you get mud suction, and freeze and thaw it's a hell of a job getting them out. Usually involving a dozer, or excavator 😂
