Olly Builds a miniature kids car. It's a 3/4 Scale WW2 Willys Jeep built from Suzuki Jimny and Honda Quad parts. The Jeep will have fully operational Four Wheel Drive, with Locking Wheel Hubs and will run on petrol. The Ideal Kids Project at Home, and the Ultimate Kids Toy to Keep Kids Occupied.
In this Episode, we show how to use a pipe bender to make a steering wheel, install a brake pedal and accelerator pedal, make body panels, Front Fenders, Inner Wings and install the body work, as well as Mig Weld.

Look up a "Roof Palomino" it was a jeep shaped mower (one of a few different ones). It was similarly sized and had a 60" mowing deck

Just incredible! Would you mind telling me the dimensions of the wheels and tires, please?

Thanks for the comment! The wheels are 12 inch, 5 x Stud trailer wheels with a PCD of 139.7 (same PCD as both the Willys/GPW, and Jimny Jeeps). The tyres are 23 x 8.5 x R12 lawn tyres. We want to apply for a UK IVA test to make this road legal so we're on the look out for a set of Willys 15 inch wheels and tyres if anyone has any..!? Thanks for watching.. 😊👍

Did you consider using dzus fasters for the side panels instead of welding them?

Those Dzus fasteners look useful 👌 I suspect you would need to line the mating surfaces with some sort of seal to avoid vibration but they would be great for removable panels. Might be good for the little tool boxes at the rear of the wheel arches 😉 Thanks for the heads up 😊 👍

Can you make a more complete list of materials needed for the chassis? Such as steel tubing and sheet metal dimensions. I already bought the engine and tools, I’m going to try my own hand at this!

Glad to hear you are going to try your hand, this has been so much fun to build. We haven't maintained a comprehensive list of materials an dimensions etc. much of it has just been eyeballed and made up on the spot to be honest, that's why it has been so much fun! I work full time so we get half a day per week to work on the jeep, usually Sunday afternoons. Time is fairly tight so so not much capacity to compile plans as yet, however we're more than happy to measure any bits and pieces as you need them. Just leave a request in the comments.
