Olly Builds a miniature kids car. It's a 3/4 Scale WW2 Willys Jeep built from Suzuki Jimny and Honda Quad parts. The Jeep will have fully operational Four Wheel Drive, with Locking Wheel Hubs and will run on petrol. The Ideal Kids Project at Home, and the Ultimate Kids Toy to Keep Kids Occupied.

@@ncairguner We haven't kept a tally of the costs, but the materials alone run into thousands even before we consider the man hours. Labour of love..!

I have been following you from the start. And I am still gobsmacked!!! Its just AMAZING. UTTERLY and completely mind blowing!!! Where did you learn all the skills needed? Its a masterpiece and had I the money, I would offer you mad cash. But of course you would never sell. I would not either. So sorry about the passing of your dad . And a fitting tribute!!!

It makes the effort worth while, so thanks for taking the time, and thanks for following... 👍 Some of the skills definitely come from working with my dad for years at his metal fabrication workshop, others I've just picked up (or made up!) along the way. The mini jeep build has been a great opportunity to pass some of these on now to the wee chap, hopefully he will get the same enjoyment and pass them on further down the line. Browning M1919 .30 Cal machine gun next to finish off the build, we're planning to do something special with this so stay tuned.. 😉 🍻

You're most welcome. As I was a carpenter, I built my son and daughter a treehouse with a zipline into the pool. I put a lot of detail and effort into that. I also built a little liveable house for my daughter with lounge, bedroom, fireplace and working kitchen. But that was long before youtube :)). Does not beat your jeep though!!! I had to buy my kids a mini jeep and it was not even 10%of what you guys built. Ill keep my eyes peeled for any more of your videos.

Funny, I did exactly the same with the treehouse and zip line. Although we're in Scotland so it was into just a paddling pool 😊 Thanks again for following 👍

WOW! what can I say! what can anyone say to you both and the Jeep apart from exquisite work. that ending got me right in the heart. you did your father a solid for sure, he would be more than proud of the hard work that you and Ollie put into this incredible father and son project. a truly inspirational piece of craftsmanship and a forever long lasting slice of history that will never be forgotten recreated in the hands of you and your son. I truly take my hat off to you my friend.

Thanks for the feedback. I can't argue. Finding copyright free music is a real challenge. The only relatively safe source is from KZfaq themselves, but the quality is very limited unfortunately. Thanks for watching 👍
