Hello Andrew and Gwynn! I'm glad you enjoy visiting the U.S., it's my home, and I'm quite proud of it. I hope to one day visit Pearl, I also grew-up learning about it, and had family that served during the war. I particularly want to visit the Missouri, as my father served during the war in Korea, and was amongst the soldiers that landed at Inchon. He told me how they lay on the beach, and "Old Mo" shelled inland, over them, to help keep them safe. Thanks for another nice video.

I visited Pearl Harbor 6 month ago. It’s striking that that start of the conflict - represented by the Arizona Memorial - and the end - represented by the Missouri, where the surrender was signed by the Japanese - sit around 100 to 200 meters from each other.

In the photo of the Japanese surrender, my friend’s father Gen. Jimmy Doolittle, is seen standing near the Emperor. I was honored to have Retired Col. John Doolittle attend my retirement ceremony from the U.S. Air Force. My commanding officer was star struck. Lol

Have been to Hawaii on oy way home from America to Australia. Would definitely go back there for a longer time, than just a stop over.

It’s a nice spot. I did close to the same trip on the way back from work one time. The surf was about as flat. I went to pipeline and it was millpond flat. Hard to believe it’s the same place you see on tv when the surf is up.

Ah the Missouri. She’s a beauty. Unfortunately she’s been refit from her original design. There are battleships in the US that still sit as they did in WWII. I work at one of them, the USS Alabama. I’d love to show you around.

Your extremely unlucky you didn’t get to visit Maui. Basically everything in Maui got destroyed in the fire shortly after this video was published. Including Lahaina and that Banyan tree.

I used to watch your vids. Several years ago (2015...?) you made short documentaries about your adventures in the US. I was into politics back then. As a dummy it made me angry -> why US when US is a source of so many issues in the world? At that time I was considering joining your patreon. I wrote angry comment in which I claimed I am canceling my patreon support for you. You - understandably - were confused. Like _WTF is he even talking about?_ You also said you can not find me in list of your patreons (whatever the motivation for that was is irrelevant here). I said I was there under another name. I unsubscribed and tagged your channel with _don't recommend_ . Years later couple of your videos were again suggested to me. I watched them and they are - as always - very good. My strange reaction was stupid. I rarely say _I apologize,_ mostly that _I am sorry,_ because I try to live so that I do not intentionally say or commit bad things. Now I say: *I apologize,* it was stupid and unhinged from me. I am not saying this will undo that. But it is step in right direction. For whatever it is worth. You seem to be good and honest man.

You are in more danger in US than in SA. Why would you visit??
