The Kill count and remaining units display in this game is quite inaccurate. It does not account for units killed by falling, drowning, splash attacks, etc. Therefore, it's best to consider this display only as a rough reference for the battle context.

Absolutely. The reason I try not to place units on the walls is well demonstrated in this video. I hoped that the trolls' issue on the staircase terrain would naturally resolve itself, but unfortunately, it didn't happen until the end of the battle. The reason for placing the howitzers at that distance is to prevent the orc army from forever failing to breach the walls if placed closer. You might ask, "Why not reduce the number of howitzers and place them closer?" Well, it's a more complex issue than it seems. To simplify the explanation, in Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2 (UEBS2), there are only 18 slots available for units. To create diverse battles with units appearing in different parts of the map, I needed to efficiently use these 18 slots, considering unit diversity, positions, and numbers. For that reason, the howitzers behind the wall could only use a single slot. The systemic issue here is the limitation on the maximum gap between placed units. The howitzers you see are already arranged in a single line at the maximum gap, and reducing their number would make it impossible to cover all wall sections. I appreciate your understanding as my explanation got a bit lengthy for what seemed like a simple question. I hope this clarifies the challenges I encounter.
