Mlrs actually hits something like 5 times the entire video. Even when it does the camera is zoomed in on infantry ignoring the explosions.

It's fun to watch, but . . . we're gathered here today to remember our brave heroes who fought so poorly and died so readily. The MLRS, in particular, was so bizarre in its target selection -- it often shot into empty spaces instead of hitting a crowd of zombies or nearby zombies. Still, you get what you get. The guns and tanks are heavily underpowered, in terms of damage per shot, especially since (based on speed and bleed) these are clearly metabolic zombies, not supernatural ones. But the guns and tanks have infinite ammunition and absurd firing rates, so it's hard to say if it's 'fair'. Bad placement of artillery, bad troop discipline (I know, it's duller if they just stand there and shoot), and bad target selection is 90% of why defenders in this game tend to lose.

Nice video. I hope they add other weapons. What I'd like to see, in no particular order: Landmines Flamethrowers Mortars Bazookas RPG's Grenadiers .30 cal machine guns .50 cal machine guns A C130 would be interesting lol T-800 with mini gun Kyle Reese with pipe bombs

Wow, that MLRS targeting system is super buggy. They really suck. The shotgun bunkers killed way more z's. Fun battle; just stick 20 MLRS's in there and maybe some will actually do some damage.

Would seems fair for the dead soldiers to reanimate and join the zombies.

Better tactics could have easily won that battle

И в целом данная симуляция больше подходит для ближнего боя, так как поведение юнитов никак не оправдывает наличия у них оружия дистанционного поражения. Они всё равно стремятся войти в подобие клинча, а это просто тупо, как минимум...

Those MLRS kinda' suck. Wish regular infantry men had .. maybe like a %0.5 chance to crit 1 hit. So many bullets, you would think headshots would bring down the zombies with a 1 tap.

Unrealistic. Me I have at least modern flame tanks on the frontline at least 50, 000 surrounding my troops everywhere the automatic missiles those allow will take out two mil alone then have soldiers with rocket launchers at least five hundred. Then solders with cannons

The sim needs work. 1). The bow and co-axial machine guns on the M4 Sherman tanks are not modeled at all. Both machine guns would mow down zombies left and right. 2) When the ammo runs out, the M4 Sherman tanks should be used run over the zombies. 3) The defenders have no minefields or razor wire? 4). The door to the bunkers is wide open? Zombies cannot open such doors, when closed, without bare hands. 5). Zombies cannot destroy tanks with their bare hands. 6) The defenders have no crew-served weapons, aside from the few bunkers. Not realistic. 7) The soldiers are not given hand grenades to use. 8). Knowing I had nothing but zombies to deal with, I wouldn’t put my soldiers on the ground - rather, they would be in towers and be behind raised walls 20 - 30 ft high. 9).MLRS is poorly modeled - ‘nuff said. 10). Yes, it’s a sim where the units have unlimited ammo and indestructible barrels; but, the other issues must be corrected.
