OMG...what a great video. Can't believe that Connie wants to stay at your house, she must be starving like Remy. A scone and a half bag of pretzels... I'd be ordering Door Dash! Loved all the antiques especially the beater in the jar that you got Julie. I'm 73 and when I was 7 or 8 when we went to my Grandmother's house she had a mixer just like that, that she used for whipped cream. We kids would fight to turn the handle to make the cream then to lick the beaters. Fond memory. All those flower frogs are gorgeous! as is the stitching from the retreat.

The sewing bird was a great find. So neat to find one with the pin cushion still attached. I believe they were used to hold the a quilt while one was binding it but I could be mistaken. And after Remi started dripping his bowl I didn’t hear another word you said because I was too enamored and tickled by it. Remi is a dog after my own heart…. Feed me! 😂 Please thank him for the laugh with lots of treats. 😉💕

What a fun video! Wish I lived in the Omaha area again. We lived in Papillion back in the 1990’s and loved it. The best five years of my life! Your shop sounds lovely and your retreats sound like common sense fun!! 👍😊🧵🪡✂️

Enjoyed your cross stitching section as well as the antiquing portion! I know very little about antiques, my sister got that gene! Connie, the Harper bowl with cross-stitching on it --my mother-in-law had a serving dish with a lid. On the bottom was the Good Housekeeping seal! I have a platter that I could not read what the stamp said and I think I purchased it online after I received my mil’s serving dish. I know I went online and found other items. Your hotel noises story brought back memories of the Spirit of Cross Stitch Festival in Des Moines. I had a couple in the next room moaning! Nothing I tried worked to drown out their noises!

Enjoyed your video! Love seeing your antique finds. My sister just gave me a magazine Needlecraft December 1932. It has the best cover. It's a nativity scene done I think in crewel. It's in great shape. I will frame it. My sister has one she brought when I lived in Virginia back in 2005. It has a little girl working on an embroidery piece. She framed it and it hangs in her craft room. I have seen the square sewing box several times in Montana. Didn't know it was rare. Again maybe I will see you this summer.

FYI - you could do a zoom live and if stitchers want to join they have to message you for password. So enjoying this video and the antiques.
