The other bad thing about lead paint on the outside of glassware is that some people stack the cups when they store them in the cabinet, so the outside of this cup touches the inside of another cup

Wow! 10-12yr old ikea glass with 41,400ppm lead and 745ppm cadmium! 90ppm is the limit set for safety for children! Dishes unfortunately don’t fall into this category since they’re not marketed exclusively to children, decor items also get a pass, anything not marketed specifically to children may not be safe for them!

Have you stumbled upon any lead-free drinkware that is not glass nor a water bottle? I am at a loss of what to look at now that Corelle doesn't sell embossed white mugs anymore. I reached out to Lenox and their response was that their drinkware meets Prop 65 and FDA regulations for lead extraction for food contact items but if you are asking if our product is 100% lead-free the answer is no.
