Good explanation but is valve ke mane chez nahi btai apny k 5 pot block ka reason kiya hai or is direction ka valve kis wajha sy use kiya jata hai 5 pot block k valve is liye lgay jaty hai k jack ko rasty mai kahi bhe roka ja sky jitni zarorat ho utna he nikly is liye 5 pot block valve use kiye jaty hai

When coil x is energized and air goes from 1 to 4 and suddenly there is power failure, and air compressor shuts down , then does air come back from 4 to 1 and the piston which had gone up comes down?

Sir meri hydrolic power pack me 5/3 dsg 03 valve laga hai. Double acting cylinder hai. Uska ek T port band kar rakha hai . Reason batao please.

Yess dear for operating with plc you need to take to output. U can also connect it directly with two contactors for reverse and forward.

Dear 5/3 dc valve mai 5 ports hn aur 4/3 dc valve mai 4 ports hote hn. Mostly 5/3 dc valve pneumatics me use hota hn aur 4/3 dc valve hydraulics system mai.

Your question is absolutely right , 5/3 directional control valve is further classified into two types .. 1. Center position open & 2. Center position closed . so now its up to yor application demand you can choose center position open 5/3 Way or center position closed 5/3 way
