Today I'm taking a look at the LED Gaming Keyboard from Five Below. This is part of their Unlocked LVL brand, which is their new budget gaming gear line. The items in this line cost around half the price of what was in the Bugha line, so let's see how they stack up.

Does this work on an iMac as well because I can't figure it out since the Scroll Lock only dims the screen?

Using this for programming on my Android phone and it has been very good for 5 bucks so far. Functions are all working and shortcutkeys work as well on many different apps. Haven't figured out how to change led patterns and such yet though, any tips helpful!

When I plug in the cord all the way, the light won't work. Though if I put it in halfway, it would not sense any clicks, what do I do?

Hey I play keyboard and mouse from my switch and I have a keyboard and mouse adapter when I plug it in the the dock alone it will light up but on the adapter it won’t so can someone help me

Can you change the key cap’s because I plan to buy a custom key caps for it

Not really. Custom key cap sets a pretty much exclusive to mechanical keyboards. Membrane keyboards like this one don't have a standardized key design.

on Unix based systems (possibly Chrome also) - open a terminal and try typing xset led 3 --- This will turn it on. As far as getting the patterns going, I'm still playing with it. The keyboard controller is supposed to have 10 patterns for the LEDs

Been trying to figure out how to fix it, but seems that if you connect the keyboard to a MacBook Air, it doesn't allow you to turn on the LEDs due to the Scroll Lock being the Decrease Brightness button. Been trying to fix it so that I can actually enjoy this keyboard to the fullest, but haven't been able to find how to change it. Did you find a way or have any idea on how I might be able to do it? I wish the box said that some functions wouldn't work if used with an Apple product.

Mushy membrane keyboard? Nah, I've got those already without the static LEDs. Untapped market idea though, 5-Below...make a wrist pad/desk pad that has a USB hub so a keyboard plus maybe mouse and controller can all be plugged in (and cable-managed )above-deck on the desktop.
