This is my second pregnancy update. I go over the symptoms I experienced during weeks 5 - 8 of my pregnancy. I primarily talk about the major symptom I had which was bleeding throughout early pregnancy. In my initial pregnancy update I had stopped bleeding which led myself and my doctors to believe that what I experienced was implantation bleeding. Unfortunately, shortly after filming that video I started bleeding again, and this bleeding continued on until about week 8 / my first "real" ultrasound appointment.
After many visits they've concluded that it's definitely not implantation bleeding, it's not a subchorionic hematoma, or anything like that. In fact, they couldn't detect any reason at all for the bleeding. I did experience mild cramping with the bleeding, and a true flow of blood versus spotting. Additionally, the blood was very dark and basically all of my symptoms pointed to things that the internet said was a sign of a miscarriage. However, as I'm sure you all know if you've been following along, our baby is perfectly healthy and very much thriving.
As I write this, she is kicking around in my tummy, and I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow. I haven't bled since a couple of days before my 8 week appointment. So I'm very thankful. I'm going so in depth on this because I didn't find ANY success stories from mamas who were bleeding that didn't have a hematoma. So if you're experiencing this, and a hematoma has been ruled out, just know that I understand how stressful this is for you. But there is hope.
