Yes there are plenty of adobe structures out there! I would recommend water delivery, or rain catchment, but digging a well in my opinion is too cost prohibitive and you don't know how much water you're guaranteed to get. Unless you're doing a large commercial endeavor. This particular property is sold but we have a similar one that is 20 ac coming available soon.

@@moosabman Actually yes we are. Dad is going on Hospice, and I cant keep paying taxes and maintenance fees on land we never used, and will never use. When my dad bought it way back in the day, he did think he would do something with the land but work and life just didnt give him the chance. It is time to let it go.

Their main function is to maintain the roads. There is nothing prohibiting them from enacting building codes in the future but currently there are no restrictions and you'll find all sorts of different buildings on the ranch from traditional single family homes to creative DIY pieced together homesteads.

common water solutions in the area are water delivery truck, rain catchment system, or drilling a well. IMO drilling a well is the least cost effective and practical solution so I would suggest the water delivery personally.

@@moosabman NOTE! drilling a well does not guarantee water. If you bring up water it could be toxic. Best to talk to a local well driller before making a purchase.
