The Realm of Legends is one of the best places to farm Health potions in Marvel Contest of Champions. Here I take my fully maxed out R5 Aegon on a lightning fast 13-minute clear of the entire RoL! No boosts and no items are used in the run. Aegon may very well be the most efficient champ for farming potions in the Realm!
This was a result of a lot of experimenting with Masteries and Synergy teams, and trying various approaches in ramping up Aegon's Persistent Combo leading up to the fight with Wolverine (e.g. front-loading the Combo Meter vs. focusing on high Fury damage). Tips on how I used Aegon to achieve the fast time are included throughout the video, and Masteries used are presented at the end.

Synergies (from who)
+10% Attack Rating (Nick Fury)
+6% Attack (Magneto w/ Cyclops)
+6% Attack (Cyclops w/ Magneto)
Once per fight, when a teammate is inflicted with a Bleed, Poison or Shock Debuff, the teammate receives a Restoration Kit, Purifying the Debuff and Regenerating 10% max health over 3 seconds (Nick Fury w/ Goldpool)
All Champions gain +8% Special Attack rating (Goldpool)

I think those fury’s are a bit wasted considering you could’ve used them with weaving in the sp2 for some mega bleed and crit damage. Unless I’m wrong please let me know if I am. Great video and impressive skills. Keep em coming.

Getting the Fury enhanced attacks by getting struck require a bit of AI cooperation, and in my many attempts at this, I found that for the fights leading up to Wolverine, front-loading the Combo Meter produced reliably faster times than prioritizing high damage from Fury. Wolverine becomes a severe bottleneck for the run if you get to him with too few hits on the Persistent Combo Meter. ~500 hits by the time you get to your first SP2 against Wolvie is key so that its damage potential isn't wasted. After the 500 hit milestone, then yes, go crazy with those Furies!

Nf is about a minute faster compared to aegon up till storm. Vision is the only fight that slowed him down significantly

How do you get such high combos? I’ve watched plenty of videos but I still can’t seem to get a combo above 40, the opponent always cuts me off. I typically do medium light light light medium, and swipe back and repeat. What am I doing wrong? Should I mix in different combos?

SilverBlaze it’s practice. With practice you learn the opponent AI attack patterns and ways to avoid getting hit. Learn from the times you do get hit and adjust in the next fight.

@@mvinceable How do speedruns generally work? Are you allowed to use multiple different characters, so use void or guilly or Cap IW for wolverine? Because that would make the run considerably faster

Cehan A there are no official criteria for a MCoC speedrun. The parameters I chose for this one are no boosts and no items. Usually a team built around one champ produces the fastest results in RoL, as you can focus all Masteries and Synergies to benefit that one champ.

Just beat Realm today with my Ægon, felt good to finally beat this thing that’s been around forever, that a majority of the people playing probably haven’t tried to touch. He’s at like Rank 4 so it wasn’t as easy as this one was, but watching him just decimate Hulk was crazy satisfying.

That’s true, but the NF+GP synergy requires Nick to be alive for the 10% Regen to happen per fight.

A R4 Aegon should still work, though fights will take a little longer. The key is getting close to 500 Hits on the Persistent Combo Meter for the Wolverine fight.

6* aegon at sig 200 still caps at 75% combo but the fights would be way faster so getting to 500 will be harder.

That's right. Any Deadpool (Red, X-Force, Goldpool) will give you the Restoration Kit synergy. The only difference is Goldpool has a stand-alone synergy that gives all champs +8% Special Attack rating.

It's all because of Suicide masteries....without them Aegon would take double the time.....FYI...Personally tested with Aegon 5/65 multiple times(Since I'm F2P)
