Biology and physiology combined, I'm jealous of not being able to work in this field. I don't do well in school but I have an understanding towards mechanical engineering.

The human ingenuity behind this is astounding !! to make all those gears and levers work that bat & make it fly like a real bat is so cool !!! Leonardo da vinci would be proud, of the person that made it happen...

not going to lie i love how inspired by biology some of these are. we should absolutely listen to evolution from time to time. after all, those body plans have been tested hundreds of millions of times, and clearly if they work...they work *well.*

The tail of the dragonfly is too bouncy so when it flaps his wings the tail bounce and destabilize the drone. I'm not an expert or anything I just feel that a stiffer tail would provide more stability and so more control.
