i've just been playing through the remake and had the original as a huuuge part of my childhood... the texture pack to make it look like the og version is perfect 🥺 it should've come as an option baked in the game !!!

My favorite smell is super specific. One time I found an incense stick that captured the smell of a can of sprite by a pool, I feel like I had a ratatouille moment of nostalgia. Also WHAT, I didn't know about the Flora mod and will be downloading immediately.

My favorite smell? Lately, I've been trying to make healthier choices, and my doctor suggested making green tea once a day. (And drink it, of course.) Now that it's hot season here, I am putting a little fruit in my tea while it steeps and by far, my FAVORITE is peaches. The smell of my green tea steeping with peach slices in it is divine! It's such a nice way to start a day and now that I've been drinking it for a while, I'm feeling so refreshed! (Fresh rain smell is a VERY close second.) Another super fun video!

I would say it's a pretty solid game for $20. You can really sink a hundred hours into it if you're wanting to get the full experience. Also, I've never been a fan of Pumpkin Pie. I don't like my vegetables and sweets to co-mingle lol

it's hard to pick a favourite of ANYTHING, but any cola, vanilla, or cherry smells feel sooo warm and satisfying. banana bread also goes really hard

Lol thats very interesting smell-wise. The mining mod is pretty sweet. It makes gifting Carter and Flora a little difficult, since the mod essentially just effect their interaction radius, but it's worth it lol

That's a great question. I wont go so far as a Stardew Valley expanded type of addition, but adding in the characters from HM:DS would be dope. My "dream" isn't really a mod per se, but it would be the ability to install multiple mods the utilize the same resource directory or .lzs file. That way I can have the Flora mod installed AND the classic names mod at the same time.

Unfortunately, the game files are set up in a way that makes modding outside of aesthetic changes super difficult. So, something that adds or removes mechanics such as death or sickness is almost impossible 😭

I wonder if there's any mod to make creating hybrid crops ENJOYABLE! Damn it's so painful to create your hybrid seeds one by one and also having the chance to get regular seeds... I mean I play the game on my PS5 but if there's any mod that help you creating hybrid crops in a less stressful way or much faster please send it to me and I'll create a new save on my pc right away hahaha

I've been on the prowl for old school video game mods, ranging from VTMB to GTA SA. If only the original HM: AWL was ported to PC, the community would've made tons of creative and QOL improvement mods that'll *probably* supersede the remake. I mean, look at Persona 3 and Advance Wars remake. Some of the community there believe playing the modded/rom-hacked original through an emulator is better than the remake itself. Oh, and favorite smell is pizza, no doubt.

I know there were a couple people working on Mods for the original edition emulator. I know there are some texture mods and "A Proud Life" which swaps the players character model so you can marry woman or men depending upon which game you use. Also, what are you putting on that Pizza, my dude?
