8:50 Pinching the offcut against the blade is just asking for trouble. You risk serious kick-back, which is part of the whole idea abouit feather boards Never EVER press the cut piece against the blade!!! When the blade starts, the feather board stops!

Great ideas, but not sure about the clothes pins for the feather board though, those springs wont resist a kickback and won’t exert enough force on the workpiece to be effective in holding it against the fence.

Feather board only help keep stock pushed to the fence. A good feather board also helps stop Kickbacks. The clothes pins would not stop Kickbacks. I am a retired shop teacher with three students having only a few stitches in my career. Two were with hand tools where they had a hand in front of a sharp tool the other was a cut on a thumb on a band saw. Safety was my primary job with my students.

The lumber you use is excellent! Where do you get it? The lumber I've purchased lately is only slightly better than fire wood.

Not sure I would bet on some superglued clothes pins vs a table saw, but the other things look pretty cool. I will be looking into that wood vise.

Love your videos. You are obviously a smart and creative person. And I'm being serious. But much of it looks like you are reinventing the wheel. But who knows. You might just hit on an idea for a new tool that fills a gap and make millions. Don't give up.

a common courtesy is to put the segment from the thumbnail first in your videos, putting it near the end won't make people watch more of it, just pisses people off.

Why the hell have you got a feather board on a table saw pushing the loose bit of wood into the blade? Far to dangerous!
