Profumum Roma - avqua di sale is the quintessential aquatic fragrance & the bench mark for all.

The Creed I would identify as the best, most quintessential, marine/oceanic scent is easily EROLFA. In fact it is the greatest marine/oceanic scent ever, imo. It's a near photorealistic Mediterranean sea spray in the face. Millesime Imperial is a sibling with the salty sea spray turned down and fruits turned up. Virgin Island Water, as you say, is the island beach next to the water. Roja Oceania is nice, but imo is more of a fresh, ozonic after-the-rain petrichor of the deck of the marina before heading out to sea. Aqua di Gio is, imo, much more ozonic than aquatic. Scented air. Oceanic/Marine genre: Creed EROLFA > everything else

Pacific Rock moss is amazingly good! I bought both PRM and Bohemian lime this summer and both have massive dents already. Really good stuff. My number one aquatic fragrance right now is Roja Oceania, it is really rounded and is more versatile than other ambergris frags. It is summer in a bottle. Good video as always. Keep it up!

Summer is finally here so I’m wearing Virgin Island again & SO happy! It’s one of those secrets (like Naxos) that I can’t stop smelling my arm when I’m wearing it. VIW is truly “summer in a bottle”

Well 40 Knots is a interesting one. For me it is 98% Ambre Nuit of Dior but without this Rose note and this matter changes the whole experience a lot. Still I do not really consider it a Aquatic fragrance for summer… but good for warmer spring and automn days

I began my exploration of warm weather fragrances the end of 2020 and have fallen in love with them (my preference remains heavy, robust cold weather niche fragrances). 40 Knots was one of my first warm fragrances and I absolutely adore it…one of the few fragrances in my collection for which I will definitely purchase a back-up-bottle…I could wear it EVERY DAY! ♥️♥️♥️ I purchased Megamare this year thanks, in part, to your review. I’ve only worn it twice but, like 40 Knots, it was love at first sniff. Now, Spirit of Dubai has been on my radar since January 2022 BUT I could not fathom where to begin. Thanks to your review, I think that I will begin with Baha. Thanks 🙏🏾

Hi Marcelo, great video. I never tried any goldfield and banks offering so far. Bahar is a masterpiece, 40 knots is more than masterpiece haha. Virgin island water has great opening, but dries down horribly on my skin :(

Hello Marcelo and thanks for a review of aquatics which have always been a favorite of mine. I was a big Nautica and Nautica Blue fan while still in my pharmacy phagrance phase. While that stuff still puts a smile on my face I haven't purchased a bottle in years. Glad to see Creed's Virgin Island Water here which is one of my summer mainstays along with Erolfa and Millesime Imperial. As I've said before, I'm also a fan of House of Sillage N.003. It's beast mode with maritime sage, volcanic rock accord, black pepper. Over time the fragrance morphs into something more woody without losing it's oceanic bearing. I have to sample what you've listed here, especially 40 Knotts by Xerjoff which sounds intriguing. And Megamare by Orto Parisi is also on my list as well. Aquatic smellers...wish I could wear them year round. Oh for the record, one day I wore HOS N.003 on a hyper-cold winter day and still got almost eight hours out of it. That one is a monster. Thanks again for the review and everything else you do here. While your channel is criminally underrated, I do believe your subscribed membership times the people who actually watch your videos are out of proportion! A 10k membership is in your future...

Loving the content, only discovered a week ago. For summer I love Albatross by House of Matriarch but only get 3-4 hours from it on my skin, but for 3-4 hours it’s phenomenal

Bonjour et bravo, belle vidéo! For summer and not only I wear Acqua Di Gio Profondo by Giorgio Armani, a perfume that suits me perfectly. I really like perfumes with fresh and marine notes, citrus too. The perfumes of your list I do not know them, still perfumes to test 👍

Thank you for the amazing video I like pacific rock moss but it’s the worst performing fragrance I have ever had I finished the whole bottle and can’t justify buying it again

I used 10ml of pacific rock moss and never smelled anything strongly mossy. Some days it was just what i needed but most days it just smelled synthetically sweet to me. Maybe I don't fully understand it yet.

I haven’t had the chance to comment as of late but you’ve been putting out some really nice content lately! Out of your list, 3 are treasures in my collection…I sampled 40 knotts about 4 years ago but at the time it was a pass for me so perhaps it’s time to revisit. I have never sampled Oltramare but sounds interesting enough to give it a shot. I also wanted to mention that the other summer fragrance from The Spirit of Dubai called Abraj is pretty darn good too! ✌️

Was wondering about Megamare since it is your favourite house. Wasn't expecting an honourable mention! Anyways, I do get honey note in 40 knots.

The only one I am familiar with ( have actually worn) in this lot is VIW. I am thinking about buying Otremare for daily office wear and I am curious about Bahar. Would you agree Otremare is appropriate for daily wear and do you think Bahar is versatile enough to use for the same?

Sel Marin ( Heeley) smells like seashore, Un Air De Bretagne (L'artisan parfumeur) is like a sea breeze, and Imagination (LVs) is sea water itself.

I know that BAHAR from the spirit of dubai is categorized as a niche fragrance but can we compare it to HAWAS from Rasasi which is a fresh, fruity, aquatic fragrance, I mean in terms of freshness, bcs both of them are from middle east! And the notes are the same Apple, plum, watery notes ect!

40 knots is marketed as yacht club but in no way is it marine or aquatic you can smell the spices tobacco and sweets.

I almost blind buy creed viw.. and then when i try it at the store, its smell similar to a bug spray in my country. Soooo saaaddddd..

Video proves to me there aren't hardly any good niche aquatics. For "true" aquatic, compare to Blvgari Aqva line. These don't come close at all. 40 knots is powdery and spice. Not even aquatic. Virginia Island Water is coconut and maybe a tad bit watery (stretching). Pacific Rock is somewhat aquatic with citrus.
