5 Beginner Mods Under $100 for your Audi A4 B8

I hope you all enjoyed my mod recommendations. Make sure to like and subscribe and I'll drop a video about performance modifications that my car has (that you can do to yours as well).

3. Brake caliper paint: I used the brand dupli color but feel free to use any high heat resistant and metal bonding paint. Found at local parts store,walmart,etc.

A front bumper lip gives the car a lower and more aggressive appearance. I paid under $100 for mine on eBay. Love the work you did.

Your car can show the exact speed on the screen, on the bottom of the wiper stalk there is a button that changes that screen.

Mine's the 2009 and doesn't have the button. My friend had an 2010 and his did have the button.

@@Giovardo.gallegos Mines 2009 bro and it definitely does show you lol. You have to use the stalk on the right side of the steering wheel to control the trip monitor computer. It might be on your left though, I'm from the UK ;) Is yours a T or TFSI or TDI?

I have an Audi C5, you can buy a DMC (Digital Music Changer) and connect it to the back of the stereo. I put mine in the glove box. Really easy to install and you even get bluetooth. Since they sell in Sweden they should sell all around the world as well.

The big round gauge on the right is the Speedometer! Hope that helps.

Honeycomb grills are easy asf to find lol might be different for A4 but I also own a B8 there are a ton of them on eBay & all u have to do is press the reset button on your right lever control for the digital speed display Edit: disregard just saw your comment below about the button

You can add bluetooth connectivity through the aux or in the glove box there's a connector. Hook your dongle up to that.

You do need to enable audio via aux in the hidden green menu. I have an a4 and use this as it comes with no a2dp

The car does have a aux it’s in the dashboard compartment u open right behind the cup holders there is that block on the back left with an aux there

i saw you reply to one comment saying you dont have the button to show the exact MPH on your dash. there are 2 buttons below your dials. one of them says "SET".if you press that the speed should come up. Mine is the exact same as yours and its a 2008 and i have it

Go to your mode on the left hand side of the steering wheel you can change it there

saw somebody take off that silver trimming by the dash/mmi screen and plasti dip it black. I did it to mine and it looks hella cleaner

I'm not very good with plasti dip and I like the silver trimming, so that's why I haven't tried it. But yep that's an option under $100.

You can definitely get RS4 style pedals and a bluetooth audio module for under 100.

Lawrence Huang hmm I totally forgot about the pedals. And yeah that Bluetooth thing is under 100 dollars but $80 I feel is too much compared to the fm transmitter. Plus the fm transmitter can work on any car.

@@Giovardo.gallegos I paid like $17.5 USD on my B8 A4 for my bluetooth module, although it was from aliexpress i've been using it for a couple of months with no problem. Just gotta make sure you're buying the correct module according to your car's MMI version.

Mods I did on my A5 Sportback B8 Osram Intense cool blue lightbulbs Spray paint brake calipers Matt black electrical tape over the chrome parts on the front Black audi logo Got friends who bought a Q7 and a A4 and everyone moves outta the way when we pull up 😂

I like ur license plate on the side it looks pretty dope. And u should have a adapter it plugs into a port in the glove department and you have to connect to that and connect to the car. Car should have come with it

There’s a button under the windshield wiper arm next to the steering wheel press it and it should toggle

I have a center resonator delete, a apr quadtip catback exhaust, and an s4 rear diffuser that was painted gloss black

Does Cali require a license plate in the front? If not take the front off and it’ll look mean 👌🏽

Unfortunately cali does require a front plate :( they are pretty lenient with the people who don’t place it in the front but it is punishable

Ummm you can get AMI usb and aux input cable from ebay or aliexpress for around 5-10dollars i have that on mine and 5 dollars for a bluetooth receiver... dont buy the bluetooth module it only works on Audi MMI 3g and above and i can see you have audi symphony 3 i have that same tried everything so i am telling you this works well ! No audio loss or whatsoever

There’s no aux port in my car idk why, the spot where it’s supposed to go isn’t there. I have friends with this car and I’ve fixed plenty so I know where it’s supposed to be and my car doesn’t have it. And I didn’t want to get the mmi bt because I wanted something universal, hence the fm transmitter.

Mani Ndu well it really ranges from mileage, fwd to Quattro, and all the trims(black optics, s line,base...etc) because it can range from 4500-10k

Random, but there’s this Bluetooth I really like for my A4 which I will link down below. It’s only $30 and you can hide the cable through the center console. Fm transmitters are universal and don’t have to stick with one car, so there’s many more purposes for it🤷🏽‍♂️(I’m yet to have issues with the transmitter I recommended)

@@Giovardo.gallegos what I mean by that is when you're transmitting audio through FM waves you're not getting full full audio quality but like I said if you don't care about audio quality then yeah go get one I had one and one of my older car that didn't really have good speakers so I decided to buy one anyway but I wouldn't recommend it if you care about your audio quality

@@D-CELLZ I personally prefer hearing the car and don’t really listen to music 🤷🏽‍♂️ but yeah you’re right. Also, I know there’s the direct cable that goes in the glove compartment for this car but I didn’t want to suggest something I’ve never tried🤔(that’s how I see it at least)

@@Giovardo.gallegos yes exactly that’s why I’m selling my a4 and financing a cpo s4 or an s3 whichever is a better deal only reason I’m doing it is so I have that warranty for 5 years not worrying about repairs I got the same a4 as you tho mines 2009 prestige rare trim for thag year of car
