This is not so much a concealer recommendation, but I've found a way to make a lot of concealers work for me by doing this. I tap the concealer on with a finger and then after a minute I take my beauty sponge with a little setting spray on it and lightly tap over it. Once that dries I take my finger again and dab it into my no 7 pressed powder and lightly dab my finger over the undereye area. Using the powder with my finger allows me to be very precise about where it goes and also seems to melt into the skin better without looking dry and powdery. I'm almost 40 and have oily skin but dry undereyes with fine lines. My undereyes have been looking super smooth and seamless since figuring out this little technique!!

I’ll be 59 in September and my current go to for my under eye (and I’ve tried ALL on the market in every price range 🤣) is the Incognito concealer by Wet n Wild! 👍🏻👍🏻

Nyx Bare with Me serum concealer is also a great one for my dry, textured skin. I really like the consistency and the shade range is excellent.

I really like the Catrice concealer. It’s a bit of a thicker consistency but covers well without caking up.

The search for that holy grail concealer when your skin is getting up there- the struggle is real lol I love my IT concealer and also the Kosas 🥰. I recently tried the PUR concealer and it ranks pretty high as well - very smoothing under the eyes - almost magical lol I feel like I definitely need 2 concealers in terms of colour- I like something lighter and brighter for under my eyes and I need something a tad darker for the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. This was super helpful- I’ve actually never tried the ELF concealer but I want to now :) Happy weekend 💕 Xo 🇨🇦

Thanks for this wonderful video! I love the Kosas concealer! I am 64 and have deep-set eyes so my undereyes have significant hollows. I have found that the Kosas concealer really helps to disguise those pesky hollows! Also love the It Bye Bye concealer! Dying to try the Dior. Thanks again!

Dior is my go to concealer,I've been using it also as my foundation. I have three shades. It has my olive tone skin covered. 👍Thank you for another great video ,and that awesome tip at the end. I'll be trying that thank you 🙂

THANK YOU for saying that you don't find applying powder to the undereye area keeps concealer from settling into lines there. I keep hearing even though it makes your undereye look like a dry desert, you need to apply powder to keep it line free. And no matter which concealer and which powder I apply, I get concealer settling into huge obvious lines! I have been trying for almost 5 years to get it to work and it never ever does, even with setting spray. I decided my undereyes have some kind of oil that is getting that reaction and I have to live with dark blue circles under my eyes. Thank you thank you for saying this happens to you and for that reason, you DON'T apply powder there. Now I have some hope!

I bought the IT Cosmetics concealer on your recommendation and I LOVE it. I have very dark undereyes, and they have lots of fine lines. This stuff completely cover the darkness and stays all day, even through workouts. This, mascara and a brow product are often the only makeup I wear. It lasts forever because you use so little; because of that it is actually very affordable. I wear it both with and without powder, depending on my look. ❤️

The NARs Radiant creamy concealer is my favorite for under the eyes, good coverage and forgiving on wrinkles. ☺️

I'm enjoying the Nyx Bare With Me Concealer Serum for when I need to look polished and the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Multi Use Concealer for a less makeup, lighter look. I have lines and dry eyes (quite suddenly!) but these 2 work well for me.

Hey Mandy Lea! Thank you for tackling the most problematic area millions of us try to deal with everyday. You brave girl! My favorite undereye routine involves using a matte lip color as a color corrector, then an older concealer no one ever mentions. Also, I do set my undereye area - my whole face, actually - with the OG BareMinerals Mineral Veil. If anyone else is interested: Color Corrector: Wet N Wild Cloud Pout Marshmallow Lip Mousse in Marshmallow Madness (coral-ish color); Concealer: Maybelline Master Conceal in Fair; Setting powder: BareMinerals Original Mineral Veil in the lightest shade (I can't read the label anymore!). Sometimes I blend in a little BareMinerals OG Original loose mineral powder in shade 02 or 03 with the Mineral Veil. BUT I always mix the liquid products with a good amount of Simple brand Soothing Eye Balm, a milky consistency moisturizer that helps spread and set the liquids fast. And I always use a tinted mineral-only sunscreen on my face all the way up to the trough/dark circle areas under my eyes. I have far fewer problems with color matching by using the Bare Minerals instead of traditional liquid foundation, and I love that I was too cheap to just throw away the $4.00 lip color when it turned out to be all wrong for my lips. Now I've bought two more of those little mistakes as backups, bc I never hear anyone talk about it and I think it'll be discontinued pretty soon. Ditto with the Master Conceal, but I'm already testing e.l.f.'s hydrating Camo Concealer, NARS' Radiant Creamy, and L.A. Girl's concealer in the squeeze tube as possible substitutes. I'm 62, with lines, sagging, very dark caverns alongside the bridge of my nose, dark circles, a few dark age spots, hyperpigmentation only on my left (driver's) side, moody rosacea patches with weird texture, and a couple of silvery scars on my face where BCCs were removed. This routine really works for me and is, so far, sweat proof. No touchups needed around the eye area, and I work outside in Southern California's relentless sunshine and smog. So I hope someone else can gain something from all this, and I Thank You again!

I too am a Dior lover (I have gone through TWO of them recently)! You should also try the Dermablend concealer as it is very similar to Dior and very good too. Only use the tiniest bit and it will look beautiful!!

I use the "it" concealer sometimes. I rub it on the back of my hand with my pinky finger and then dab that right into the darkest spot in the corner of the eye. Then I press it in going from there and adding more to my finger as needed.I keep it off the lighter areas under the eye and just dab it where it's darkest and blend it in with the dabbing sometimes putting a tiny tiny bit of eye cream on my finger to keep it moving. Ilm in my 70's so obviously I can't use much of this. But sometimes a very thick concealer can just break up a shadow around the eye without having to cover the whole area. Like putting a dab of very light sparkly eyeshadow just in the center of the eyelid right over the lash line. My two cents worth from a woman in her seventies. Cheers.

Yes yes yes! I love the Dior concealer! I had no idea how well it worked until I ran out! It is the best I have ever used. I used to use the Elf concealer as a foundation. That's how thick and full coverage it is. It is a good one for sure. I use the Elf dual ended brush mixed with a sponge to blend out my concealer. I love that brush. It's very multi-purpose and only $8! Great video as usual.

I’m 52 with dry under-eyes, though not especially significant wrinkles. But I have struggled for years trying to find a concealer that doesn’t curdle when I apply it. The IT Cosmetics worked the best for me for a long time, but still wasn’t entirely smooth, even with the tiny amount I used. But I just recently discovered the Nyx Bare With Me concealer. I find it to be very similar to the IT Bye Bye Under Eye, and I use a similar amount, but it’s less finicky and ends up going on much smoother than anything else I have tried. It’s my new go-to.

I highly recommend the “Conceal to Reveal 3-in-1 Coverage” concealer by Undone Beauty. I’m 59 and love this concealer for keeping my under eye areas and the areas around my nose concealed and looking great throughout my 8 hour day in a hospital setting. Glad I heard about it recently from Zabrena’s channel.

The Sahara dessert lives under my eyes and I’m older - only Pat McGrath product I own is the concealer and it’s outstanding

My favorite concealer is Tarte Ultra Creamy (I think it’s a Shape Tape product). Love it!

I’m 57 with dry skin and have tried sooo many concealers. My older fave is No 7 serum concealer, new fav is NYX serum concealer- and coming in third is Lancôme.

My nr 1 tips to try out is applying concealer only on the discoloration not up until the lashline and not to low. I set my concealer always with powder but i use my ring finger to press the powder into the concealer i just swirl my finger in the powder and tap it in and it works so much better than a brush or sponge, my concealer does not move even at the end of the day 😊

I've started tapping the tiniest amount of my E. L. F. Holy Hydration gel moisturizer under my eyes after I finish my makeup; it adds the nicest finish & is not greasy.

Loved your video Mandy! Have you tried setting your Dior concealer with the Kosas powder? I have the same problem of dry undereyes and fine lines when I smile but people say the Kosas powder helps with that and sets the concealer.

An absolute game changer for me is bareminerals powder concealer. It works especially well for concealing active breakouts. Most liquid concealers slip and slide on those bumps but not this powder concealer. Stays put all day!!

I find Dior, Armani Power Fabric and Pat McGrath are similar for me. Undereye circles are my thing. Lucky me! Laura Mercier is also good, and is thinner. Good for eyes over 50. Recently I purchased Rose Inc. concealer. I had to get a #1 and a #5 (neutral) to get the shade for me. It is VERY, VERY pigmented. I think it may work out well, but need to work with it more.

This is so funny I watched your old concealer video a few days ago for your recommendation and bought the revlon candid one. Lately I’ve been using the elf hydrating camo and the shisedo concealer. Not a huge fan of the shisedo one though I think it’s a little matte. Also I will always having creasing under my eyes, it’s not the concealer it’s just my eye shape

I've heard good things about the Shisedo Syncroskin (probably spelled wrong), especially for fine lines. I've seen a few reviews, but just haven't been able to put the money out for it yet (especially since the Age Rewind works so well for me). I'd live to see a review from you on that one. 😊

Strangely, the Dior concealer was not great for me. Really settled into my fine lines. Current faves are the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush concealer and, probably not a popular one, but the Claris Everlasting Concealer. I don’t know why more people don’t talk about this. Not a great shade range but the colour I have works great. And I’ve started to wait a minute before blending in my concealer, too. Works really well! Great video. Thanks!

Check out item beauty concealer. It’s almost like kosas and dior mixed together.. whipped/creamy like kosas but higher coverage like dior. Chefs kiss!

Powders don't blur lines for me under my eyes it makes them worse and so much more dry as well!! Also I recently finally got the kosas concealer and it was like putting plaster or cement on it felt really thick. Idk people with dry under eyes say they love it but it was a miss for me?? That's so weird that it's undetectable on you!! Maybe I got an old one? Idk but I already returned it!

I buy a couple diff shades of each brand, too. It just helps to get a great match no matter the season. I think I’m the only person who hates that elf concealer. Gave them (yes, I bought two shades), away after only using them three times. Ugh.

If you don’t set your undereye area, how do you keep mascara from transferring down? It’s my biggest make up issue; no matter which mascara I use, it ALWAYS ends up creating little black dots in my undereye area and it drives me crazy. 😩

I'm 34 and starting to notice the tiniest fine lines on my forehead and undereye area :(. I primarily use the ELF Hydrating Camo Concealer (I also have 2 shades!) and it is great for all areas of my face. I usually set my undereyes very lightly with powder, but I've recently started noticing that halfway through the day my undereyes feel tight and dry. This is a new sensation for me as I have normal-oily, acne-prone skin and have rarely experienced true dryness. I'm going to try not setting my undereye with powder and just using a bit of setting spray on my fingers. I also get hyperpigmentation spots easily (especially post breakout). I'm on a pretty strict budget right now so I'm limited to affordable products. I'm going to try Wet N Wild Incognito concealer soon to see how it compares to my ELF hoping to be able to save a few $$. I may also try the L.A. Girl concealer as I recently saw a very positive review video using it. I will definitely keep your recommendations in mind if I do happen to be gifted a Sephora or Ulta gift card in the future! I would feel so fancy being able to purchase anything Dior! :)

I’m abt to be 45 next month so I really needed this video Mandy. I just picked up the Neutrogena radiant creamy concealer the other day n I really loved it for my under eyes n for blemishes. Good coverage but so creamy like the NARS. Good dupe but bad shade range.

I really want to use the kosas concealer but it doesn't have preservatives and mine went bad REALLY fast. Really frustrating, as it's not cheap either.

I want to try the koasis and the shade finder said 2.5. I am light skinned with cool undertones but women keep saying it has too much yellow so I don’t want to waste money on it. Anyone have this experience? I love Nars creamy radiant but mixing two shades 🤦‍♀️. Such a struggle

Using a color corrector first, especially a peach tone, before concealer can greatly help. Plus you can use less concealer then !!!!

If your hyperpigmentation really bothers you consider signing up for Agency. It is prescription and is the only thing that has faded my hyperpigmentation.

I love your recommendations and agree 100%, although I haven't tried the ELF camo concealer yet, nor the Hope Girl. I love Dior so much, and the Kosas is so lightweight. One more that can compete is the Pat McGrath Sublime concealer. These are my 3 faves!

I loved that Elf concealer, but I just can't stand the smell! I had to give it away.

I'm 46 and have not used concealer for years. I need one.. terribly but I find that it only adds texture as my under eyes by the end of the day just look dry and crusty no matter what I use. I've bought tons to try but always end up just using my regular Foundation. Even if the rest of my face makeup Fades off, my under eyes still look dry and crusty and hold on to the concealer so a lot of times that's the only place on my face left with make up on it after 10 hours at work.
