An alternative to the namojiMODS NMK08 Explorer would probably be the Steinhart Adventure Classic. It uses a swiss-made automatic movement and a screw-down crown. A little more pricey though.

Checked the price on that watch. If you wanna get your dad a stylish edc watch that won't cost you damn near $400, just grab him a Casio in a color scheme he likes. There are some premium models, sure, but you can get a lot of them for $30-60, have a 10 year battery life, are durable, and most have a very good water resistance. Plus, they have a sleek retro-future asthetic, if he's into that. I can't speak to YOUR dad, but as a dad myself, I love Casios. I like this channel, but he does push a lot of gucci shit you don't actually need.

"Push" lmao he's not forcing you to do anything. Let alone even watch his stuff. It's just inspiration. I'm sure you can find cheaper alternatives that won't last as long. I'm glad this channel isn't yet another cheap "Amazon finds" channel. There's plenty of them.

I feel ya and love Casio's as well. I've shown it multiple times and personally would also love it as a gift. However,@@Urbanjeffery nailed it and it's about having options. Everyone knows about the Casio's already, my goal is to highlight gear you may not have known about and could be a great gift ideaa (or even to customize your own gear). I appreciate all the support regardless but my goal is to find and share (at least I think are) wicked accessories and I completely understand you may not like every single one of them, and that's fine. I hope you've found value in the other gear I've shown regardless.

For me, I try to give him things that I think will help him with work, or at least make his experience at work a little bit better. If your dad sometimes likes working on cars outside, give him a dust and water resistant bluetooth speaker, he'll use it all of the time. My father works doing home renovation, so his iPhone charging port fails a lot due to dust and dirt, so I gave him a magsafe battery bank this coming Christmas. Also, throughout the year, pay attention and take note of everything he talks about, because he will not ask for what he wants.
