I have a Boss GX 100. It is PHENOMENAL. Waaaaay easier to program than say the GT 1000. Sounds amazing and only cost $600.

Does it have seamless effect switching, too? Like when one patch has delay on it and that delay carries over when you switch patches. I want a 1000 but the GX sounds just as good from everything I've heard.

@user-wi1776 it has seamless switing only if you have the same signal chain. I set up each bank with 4 "snapshots" of the same program. Then, I can adjust the gain stages and effect parameters for each patch.

I would have hoped someone to play on the processor to give a sample of the sound, not a narrative only

I get it. Sometimes you need a hands-on demonstration rather than just an explanation. Unfortunately, I can't produce actual sounds or samples.

appreciate the explanation@@Audio-Zone I hope you understand why I said that. If I am planning to buy a processor, it helps to "hear" the differences, if any. Is it due to some copyright issue, or just the difficulty of physically collecting the processors, and then playing a demo on them? Just curious. Happy Holidays none the less.

That zoom is outdated, I prefer G11 and G6 instead, for budget options we now have the GP200 from Valeton. I miss the mention of fractal fm9, kemper stage, and quad cortex
