If you have headphones that can also be used to talk on the cell phone when plugged in (not referring to Bluetooth headphones), can these adapters also let you talk on phone calls w/ ur headphones plugged into the adapter into ur cell phone? I purchased the first adapter in this video (the JSAUX, royal blue ones) and I can't hear the person I'm talking to and they can't hear me. I also have another brand and still the same thing. I thought these adapters would make my cell phone work the same with my headphones as before.

Phone manufacturers should never have gotten rid of the headphone Jack........ever. stupid move. So now we all have to buy USB C adaptors.so you can play your bloody music. Absolute nonsense. Samsung heavily criticised Apple when they ditched the Jack, but now Samsung have done exactly the same. Why ????

Yes, you can. But I don't recommend spending under 20 dollars on one, otherwise it won't sound great and it'll probably stop working after a few months

Check your headphone manual or website - that USB C port could be for charging only. Only very few headphones like those from B&W offer USB C to USB C audio ...
