quiet environment (MPOW=Senn=POLY but different style) >> (Jabra = Yealink) noise cancelling (Yealink > Jabra > (MPOW =Poly=Senn) If your office in the factory or sit roadside and you don't care the quality of voice go to Jabra and Yealink that more Muffy. But if most of the time you work in normal environment MPOW, POLY and Senn be the better choice because the quality of voice is better. This is one of the best video of this channel.

Great video and great channel, thank you very much for your work. Just a comment, regarding the noise test, the Sennheiser is the only one that has a different setup test. The mic is placed on the other side so that the mic input is facing the noise source. With a very directional microphone, this can make a huge difference!?

I was set on the Sennheiser but in this video I hear it makes some clicks when you use the mic. That Mpow mic sure sounds good, I think I'll get that. How long is the cable ? Will it work with a Usb extension cord ?

A great, informative, no-frills video. Thanks. For what it's worth, whilst the Yealink had the best noise-cancelling, I also thought it was was headset with the 'wooliest', most 'digital-sounding' voice reproduction. My 60-year-old ears may have something to do with this! :-)

Hi Drew! I was wondering if for the Jabra Evolve 20 are there any changes that need to be made in settings or anything else to be done on the PC to optimize the noise cancellation feature of the mic ? Just purchased it for work :)

Hi Veronica, the mic noise cancellation is built into the mic so there's no way to adjust it. If you need more mic noise cancellation we always recommend getting noise canceling software here krisp.ai/?ref=headsetadvisor

Just one suggestion that may have affected the results on mic test was that the Sennheiser was the only one with mic towards the blender. Maybe there would not be different, but I would imagine it does.

Fair point and we wish we put the blender on the other side in this mic test for the most fair comparison. Having used the headset quite a bit and hearing a number of tests though, it would only be a slight change.

I would like to see how different headset do with intermittent and sudden noise like a baby suddenly crying or toddlers playing and screaming in the background or a dog suddenly barking. The blender is constant and static noise, but most work from home households have variable noise levels.

yealink appears good but it's hard to find in my country. I ended up buying pc8 because it was discounted to 700 thai baht (20 usd).

Yeah that Yealink's kinda outstanding. It has the best noise cancelling quality. But design-wise, Jabra kinda looks the best.

Question is it good to buy the Jabra evolve 30 Ii with the 3.5mm version than the USB with call controller because it cost almost twice than the 3.5mm version? My other choices is the Jabra evolve 20 type c. Gonna use for taking calls for call center work.

For best quality you want to connect with USB. Evolve 20 is a cost effective headset that should work well if the Evolve 30 is out of your budget.

Just as a heads up the mpow HC6 kills your ears if you're wearing them all day, my office uses them and I'm looking to purchase my own headset as the discomfort and pain of back to back calls 8 hours in, isn't good

becareful of the Jabra 20, the ear pieces can break over time due to poor design. I work in IT and we have switched away from the Jabras just for that reason. I'm very curious about the Yealink UH34 cutting out the back noise on the blender. Wow

Camera mic picks up way too much room reverb (says former recording studio guy). Consider different mic and/or acoustic treatment.

ANC is for speakers and won't effect the performance of a noise canceling microphone.

@@boryagin The only difference of USB-A or USB-C is how the headset connects with your computer and both will perform the same. If you have more USB-A ports on your computer for example, you'd want to go with USB-A.

The best cheap USB headset is the Logitech H390. It is also $20 but it does the job. The only problem is it breaks easily so you can't expect to last long. For me anyway.
