I don’t think the big 3 era will really ever be over the front offices really just need to realize how to build them properly. You can’t just have 3 top 10-15 players and nobody else. Even the 2017 Warriors and 2012-13 Heat had plenty of depth with arguably no big glaring weaknesses. Those Heat teams could play defense and had guys who could consistently knock down their shots outside of the big 3, the warriors could play defense and because their big 3 was so elite from the perimeter they just needed a competent big man who could play his role to a tee like Looney to handle the post. I think if anything the Suns just showed the rest of the league the blueprint on “if your gonna try to put together a big 3, just don’t do it this way”

The thing we also learned is that as long as Boston is healthy and together they are the next great dynasty the roster has no holes they play so well together and are incredibly well coached

“Big 3” is just a stupid title. There is nothing wrong with having 3 all star level players, In fact all dynasties have at least 3 hofers in their prime (Kobe Lakers are the exception). The prob w PHX is Book, KD, Beal do the same exact thing, they complement ea other very poorly.

Big three method doesn't work in and of itself. Pieces need to fit together harmoniously & and ego will may need to be subdued. Probably a good video to do about the topic. If it hasn't already been done.

Big 3 not over man just how you put the big 3 together is over. If you have a big 3 that take up all your cap, you have to have to have to have role players signed longterm or alot of picks to get talent on the cheap. The thunder as example in 3 yrs from now could very well have a big 3 where all 3 potentially could be stars or superstars. UT they got dort signed to a great contract and have a bunch of rookies as depth that they can resign as well as have a bunch of picks they can trade for future picks down the road as example to always have multiple first round picks for the next 10 yrs to restock talent if they chose to. You just have to be mich smarter managing your assets now then ever before.

What I've learned. People overrate Tatum & Brown. Don't give enough credit to Brad Stevens for assembling the supporting cast around him (Holiday, White, Porzingis & Horford. But, even the Tillman trade seems solid now) Send Tatum & Brown to the Suns, for Durant & Booker. I think the difference in skill would become apparent. Still expect to Celts to be as good or slightly better. And Suns to be as good or slightly worse.
