I used the normal oven. It doesn't matter which type. You just need to watch it after 12 minute. If you want to go longer then cover with baking paper. 😊

What is the oven temperature to make these cookies and how many minutes?

Hello.😋 Oven temperature set to 170C and time between 10 min - 12 min depending on your oven. Some oven need more time. If you feel need more time than place a baking paper on top of the cookies to avoid burning. Happy Baking !

It depends on your taste. If you want it to be authentic then it needs to be soy based. Good luck in trying!

but why in your recipe you said you use 150g butter when it should be margarine or vegetable shortening....

Hi Stephanie. 💓 Thank you for your question. What I meant is...you can use butter but if you want the REAL correct recipe of famous Amos then it's soy based oil. You need to tweak the ratio of the recipe if you plan to use oil. Flour quantity etc is diff if oil is used. I hope you success in baking. 🥰
