The following are five books that every C++ developer should read. This is my personal list. It is very possible that as I continue to read more, this list will change. If you have any suggestions for C++ books that you think are worth reading, make sure to put it in the comment section.

@@HiltonFernandes The C++ primer could be much better, if the authors were constructing their sentences in a different more clear way, and also if they were using full code listings instead of those annoying code snippets,

Bro, just discovered your channel. But the fact you say we're probably control freaks so effortlessly cracked me up. Love it. So true. Computers like all our second brain and they're all connected together and most people don't even know where or how their password is protected on their bank account and yet we depend on that being safe for us to not die. lol. What a time to be alive. haha.

Cool! I really recommend "Implementing Useful Algorithms in C++" by Dmytro Kedyk. I worked with Dmytro at Bloomberg -- the guy has some of the highest raw intellect I have seen in the field. His book will really come in handy when building complex systems. If you are into chess, he also wrote a bunch of chess material re his experience in the Russian chess system.

Cool. Understanding many features of modern C++ itself is one thing, but understanding how to develop object oriented s/w in C++ is another, we know use-cases, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc. but recently I saw something about Control-class, Entity-class, and Boundary-class, where the Control-class for example will manage a single use-case, from start to end, and Entity-classes are basically data for the use-case, and Boundary-class as the name implies interact with other parts of the system. So if a functionality has 10 use-cases, we will have 10 Control-classes to manage them as triggered by respective actors, and their required Entity and Boundary classes. I find this C-B-E based classification of classes are quite fascinating when designing an OOP based design. And no books found on that, do you have any recommendations? The design pattern is another matter, its a set of known and trusted solutions to familiar problems, plenty of books on that. Thanks.

One of the C++ Standsrd Committee’s goals is to write the language such that there will be no need for a lower level language than C++. In other words, the syntax won’t get in the way of getting close to the hardware. I’m not sure if I mentioned this point in the video.

These book help you for understanding C++ Language; but didn’t help you to programming like C++ aime; C++ Core language has mathematical foundation from abstract algebra to group theory, to Calculus of predicate. For good in C++ programming should be mathematicians.
