This is what bourbon needs. The pretentiousness has gotten out of hand. I appreciate you for being you, doing you, and not being a pompous or pretentious bourbon snob as the majority of bourbon enthusiasts seem to be. Whisky Tribe/Vault and ADHD Whiskey are the main two channels I pay attention to. Whisky Tribe/Vault for the great amounts of information on mainly scotch and other world whiskies, including bourbon, and humor, and ADHD for bourbon lists and reviews like this, just having fun with it.

This is the same explanation I give to everyone who wants to start with bourbon. "Which $100 bottle should I buy to see if I like bourbon?" "This $30 bottle of WT101, and everything else you buy after that might taste ever so slightly better, but not better enough to justify spending 2-3 times the price for it compared to WT101. You're welcome."
