Turkey is really the best country in the world the city of Istanbul is the best city I have visited in my life ... but the thing that is the best of the city are generous and great people loyal who leving there i am from Syria has gone to Turkey because of the difficult conditions, war and I saw a beautiful welcome by the Turkish people who did not leave me for a moment, and continued their support to me ... I come back to syria buti do not forget what do turkey people for me ... I really thank the people of Turkey and the Government of Turkey ... I love you

@@floricuenta2995 it was just the official name for formal matters. The people used the name Istanbul with other names wich were common. The name Istanbul was very popular but it was not used for official matters. An other common name was also Der-i-saadet.

I'm planning to return to Istanbul this year. It's the only city i've ever been to where i felt home. You can smell, see and feel the history everywhere. It should be the capital of the world. Stunning in every way.

Byzantium, Constantinople. Istanbul, 3 names for the same legendary city. I´m amazed with this incredible place and country, one of my dreams of my life is visit Istanbul. Congratulations for this great video from Ecuador.
