Thanks Iván 🙂 So many hifdden tricks in Excel. I learn something new every now and then. Another thing I learned but didn't cover in the video is that if you enter r in the name box and hit enter, It will select the entire row of the active cell. And if you enter c in the name box and hit enter, It will select the entire column of the active cell.

Dear Sumit, Can you explain if there is any function in Ms Excel which can be used to prevent those wrong duplicate entries which are entered by pressing Control + D while pressing Control + C shortcut key. I have searched for this problem but couldn't find it's solution.

What if the one tries to name a routine in VBA and a named range the same will excel throw any duplication prompt or should care be taken while naming VBA routines and named ranges

In that case, the named range takes precedence

Hi, can we get filtered value in cell, like if a column has 10 values and we apply filter over it, now if in filter drop down i select one of the value, now this value shall get copied in one of the cell i want

any technique to use name box to name table, not column/row alone ?

I don't think you can name a table with a Name Box. You can do that from the Table Design tab that appears in the ribbon when you select any cell in the Excel Table

@@trumpexcel i checked it Today, we can name a table too . basically giving a name in name box to a table.

@@abhishekpandey21790 If you're talking about tabular data (and not the official Excel Table), then yes, you can. But if you have converted it to an Excel Table, then you can not change the name from Name Box.

@@trumpexcelyes only tabular data, agree that no editing possible. I was wondering if we can copy equations with formulas too that allows editing, that would just make work too faster

Sir i have excel file with vba .. so vba tooks 30 min to run it for 1 data i have 2000 data so any cloud platform their provide run excel with vba .. any solution tnx

Instead of VBA try power query for it will do the work in few minutes
